Just terms of endearment. Nothing negative in their meaning at all. Girls call guys these things too.

I don't really like being called those things, nor cute, I'm not a puppy, a baby, or a chicken, so don't call me things that imply I'm worth less than a human being.
I want to know the answer too, why do you guys have to call us these things?

Because you live in America. Im a guy and personally i dont get those nicknames.. Also if your bf calls you one of those, politely tell him they offend you and if he wont stop dump him. Hes probley just with you so he can say he has a gf.

i believe its because it makes them feel superior in the situation because they are not actually sure what to do so they say things that will make them feel like they are all big and tough to feel they are superior in the situation
