I'm size 12 right now. Im only 5'3 and have a tiny bone structure so Im losing weight for my health and also to wear clothes I like.
Im shooting for size 4. For most of my life (Im 30) Ive been size 4, but I balloned last year after surgery and intravenous steroids to recover.
Im still have confidence, but guys treat me different.
Im still getting compliments on my face and breasts, but when I fish with guys Im dating they all sheepishly admit to liking slender shapely girls size 2-6 , 110 -130lbs.
Im frustrated because I feel like guys should just like me for me, but thats not the reality.
There is one guy Im crazy about but I know thru the grapevine that although he thinks Im cool and have lovely face/chest that he likes girls who are in great toned thin shape.
Why do guys get so excited about thinner girls ? Is it cultural , media induced ? Or purely carnal ?
Should I wait to date until Im in the best shape possible or keep looking for guys who'll like me as is ? Argh !

I have been broken up with my bf for 3 years and we have remained friends. In Nov I went to visit him and he told me he still loved me and cheated with me on his current gf. After that I went to stay with him over xmas and we expressed that we loved eachother, however, we dont live in the same town which made it hard to start anything. I then found out that he slept with his ex. recently and I freaked out and gave him a peice of my mind. I dont know if he plans on trying things with her again or what. Is he worth forgiving for? I dont know why he did this after he told me how important I am to him and how much he loves me.... I'm lost..

I did my best , i was always there for her.
I helped her many times, when she was alone, when she was in trouble, when she needed anything i was there to help.
I love her endlessly, but she seems to be either missing or ignoring this fact.
Should i give up and move on...or maintain hope???
It's hard to be alone, but it's lethal 2 c her without being able to make her c me as i want.

My question is can you be 100% commited to a person now days? Is monogamy outdated? If so, why don't we value & apriciate who we are with anymore? Or is it that society as a whole has claimed it's independency in every sense, is it that peopel don't need love and commitment anymore to happyly exsist on this planet? Why is it that relationships have lost their value/meaning? I am 25 & I used to have casual encounters while single...since 2003 that has changed, I have turned into a very attractive, young professional, that is 100% commited. I love my Boyfriend with all my heart (1 1/2 years) I have never thought about cheating or tried to talk to anybody else, he on the other hand is very interested in other females & while yes I have thought about females in more then a "friends" type of way I am uncomfortable crossing that line & sharing my Man. He sees nohing wrong with it, claiming taht a3rd party would be there for sex only. I think love should be between 2 only. How do you feel?

why is it when sometimes a guy first meets a girls he asks her out or the other way around? i never understood that cause ive never gone out wit someone i didnt kno as a friend first. girls, why do you say yes to guys u just met when they ask you out? a girl i know just sent me a text message "happy valentines day kb!" A week and a day ago my boyfriend went back to his home town, to help his mother out and he was suposed to come back this week. But now he's going to go check out a place in Utah. It was our plan for him to come back and move in with me. but now he wants me to move with him. My best friend told him that she wasnt going to cheat on her boyfriend and that she wasnt going to do that to me. So she has nothing to do with the part of me being mand about it. Hey im currently an exchange student in austria and i have a question.
