Thats the problem, what to talk about. Thats why I hate talking on the phone with a girlfriend, or anybody for an extended period. Make an agreement with your boyfriend that you won't talk about anything for a period and see if this is refreshing. Tell him that silence is OK and it can be just as valuable as talking all the time.

talk about the most painful bumps you've had. like i get those big bumps (i call them hair bumps) under my arm and he sometimes have them on his butt... it's funnt to talk about the other person's painful expeirincec with bumps.
talk about things you don't like about each other's mama (now that makes for some good conversation)
