I don't believe in it. If you don't know the person, you can't really love them. It's more like loving how they look at first sight...or infactuation at first sight.

Ahh, love at first sight. Yes, I think it's real, as far as feelings go. It's also an almost chemical reaction, really quite unexplainable. It also has to do, largely, let's face it, with physical attraction. Sometimes a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor are added factors. You sense, immediately, and you can't explain why, that there is real potential here for a future. Unfortunately, there is no way to gauge whether the other person is "feeling" all these things do. And to protect and guard yourself from being hurt, you have to be cautious and not put it right out there to a guy that he has "knocked your socks off." Men like mystery, You do, too, if you're completely honest with yourself. So...move on, and even if you encounter another individual to whom you feel this immediate attraction. procede slowly, letting things progress in their natural order.

No. Attraction at first sight is. Lust at first sight is. Love takes time to grow. Some people confuse the previous two with love though, especially if the situation does turn to love on down the road...they'll then claim to have loved one another from the moment they set eyes on each other.
It's a romantic idea, but love doesn't work that way...how can you love, with your heart, someone you know NOTHING about (other than what they look like)? Think about it...

Most people will just say no, outright. I on the other hand think that although rare, it is not only possible, but real. It really depends on the people, their personalities, and what they are feeling at the time. I think that sometimes you can just look at someone and feel a vibe that they give off; you can just have an unexplainable feeling of love. Now for this to be mutual is another thing. I personally felt this way for my girlfriend after the first time that I met her. Obviously I love her more now, and that love continues to grow, but I did feel love for her then.

My first instinct was to say "yes, love at first sight is real", but then I though that it is not fair to call that strong connection that you have with someone right from the beginning love. It takes away that feeling of "forever". Love is something that you build every day. As time passes, you love one another more and more, this is the real challenge.

It definitley is. I was in a relationship and I met this guy one day and I was just in awe of him and him with me. Unfortuneately I wasn't able to see him because I was with someone else. The guy gave me his number and then I moved from Texas to California with my boyfriend. I memorized the guys number so my boyfriend wouldn't find it and I guess I knew my boyfriend wasn't the one. After being controlled for 8 months I moved back to Texas and called him.... Ahhh, Love at first sight!

No, it's not. What you have is the reaction of seeing all of the physical cues that you're attracted to all in one person, mixed up with a strong emotional response based on romantic delusion. You see a handsome guy that looks exactly like your favorite pop singer, and BAM!!! You're in love.
But what you really see is only the tip of the iceberg. Under the surface are unknowns that you are not prepared to explore. If you pursue that person, no telling what is laying in wait to rip your hull apart and sink you ship.

I guess that depends on each individual. My first love was love at first sight for both of us. But once I really got to know him I realized what a jerk he was and he ended up breaking my heart.
I believe in love at first sight, I just don't think you can trust it.

I believe it is. It also depends on what u r lookin at. You can tell if the guy or girl loves you from first sight from the way they talk, treat and look at you. If it happened to me, it can happen to anyone

How can it be? Sure, you can be attracted to someone as soon as you see them, but you can' really "love" someone until you know their personality and how they really are. It's kind of like the saying, "don't judge a book by it's cover." And yeah, you will get hurt in any relationship you're in, but there's so many people out there, you'll find someone that you truly love. Good luck.
