why is it when sometimes a guy first meets a girls he asks her out or the other way around? i never understood that cause ive never gone out wit someone i didnt kno as a friend first. girls, why do you say yes to guys u just met when they ask you out? (Im not saying all girls do but for those that do). is this really normal?

Yes, it's normal. mind that my girlfriend I met from a friend..However...i have met other people as complete strangers. to completely keep yourself away from total strangers..yes may keep you away from "weirdos" however...for those who are looking for that "special somebody" you have to leave your options open..and lets face it..if you have to rely on friends of friends and you've been single for over 2 years..you either need new friends...or need to open up your options.

The reason for the first date...is to get to know the other person...when you ask out a stranger..you automatically find them attractive, and if they say yes..they in the least bit find you attractive as well..that's square one..it's then the personality connection, whicih is discovered over dating...some ppl like to go the other way around...which is fine..it's called playing it safe..but other people are "go getters"..

Well, that's typically an attempt to get to know that person especially if you don't run in the same circles or go to the same places...if chances are you won't run into each other again or frequently, then asking the other person out (if they've caught your eye) is a way to see if they are someone you'd like to get to know beyond that initial attraction.

i don't think it's normal personally i may agree to getting to know someone better but not to go with them at first you need to know someone properly before you decide whether or not to go out with them

because it so much easier to ask out some one you dont know oppose to someone you do know because why ask out some one who knows you secrets...and when you ask out a starnger it your time to shine
