Singles & Dating - 14 February 2007

I have been dating a guy for six months. At the beginning we had a great time. We did all of the things together that I have enjoyed doing since I was a teenager..car shows, motorcycle riding, rock concerts, etc. I was just getting out of a 4 year relationship when I met this new guy.. I feel like I am being smothered. I have tried to back peddle in the relationship but now he claims to be in love with me and wants us to begin working toward marriage. I don't want any of this and wish we could "go back" to the first 3 months of the relationship and not be so serious. I don't think this is possible but now I have a love sick puppy on my hands and don't want to hurt his feelings. It has come to the point where I am trying to avoid him..which causes more problems.

How do I dat a guy who is 11 years older than me? He is 31. Somtimes I dont know what to tak about. I dont want to go on and on about makeup and hair and stupid petty things all the time and somtimes I get confused about what signals Im setting out. I know he likes me so thats not the question. the question is Im 20 and He is 31 so what signals should I be sending out? How do I send those signals out? and what should I be talking about and saying? He wants to know more about me how do I let him know more too?

i think this guy at my school likes me, but i'm still not sure. he always compliments me (he even said he liked my shoelaces once!), and he picks up my books when i drop them. and he always hugs me!! he's not a 'playa', either; in fact, i've never seen him hanging out with any other girls.
well, does he or doesn't he like me?

and if he does, what do i do to show him i like him back??

It seems like we take love for granted now-a-days. It seems that so many people are getting married so young and so quickly, having kids and then getting divorced within two to three years of saying "I Do". This leaves us ladies in a perdicament when we are trying to find Mr. Right...so where are the guys who haven't been married three times, who don't have any kids and who are the gentlemen we ladies want in our lives?

It seems to me that girls are always complaining about headaches, and I'm not trying to hate on you ladies. I mean, I can understand you have to go trough that time of the month. That is understandable but, what's the reasons for the rest of the month. Lets see ther's Too much work, Can't find work, Not enough sleep, I slept too much, the kids, the boss, the co-worker, guys, school, the house, there is always some thing. I don't hear my guy friends complaining, I can't stand Bob he is such a jerk, I need some exedren. Or, I had SO much work to do today I have a migraine headache. And then ther's guys all-time favorite "Not tonight, I have a headache". So honestly help us understand, do you really get those many headaches, or is it a call for attention, affection, a way to get us of you back or to get a break.

I like this guy i saw about two years ago, and after a few occasions on being able to see him. i still don't know him. He's not an acquantence, nor a friend. But hes been on my mind ever since i first saw him. Theres only trully been one coincedince where ive spotted him looking at me. I was recently dumped because my gf and I had an argument about 9/11 and how our government is run. Futhermore she stated that my views on America in general were too "unpatriotic" and that she had made a vow to never be with someone unpatriotic. Whats worse is that she says that I was "the love of her life." Would you dump the "love of your life" over something as stupid as a political argument?

theres this guy that i met the beginning of the school year and we were basically "together" but not going out for like 4 months. we really liked each other and everything was going great. then around december, he started to think this other girl was cute, but we were still together and he still had feelings for me. it was getting really annoying because she liked him and kept trying to flirt with him. so i made him choose between us, and he chose me. we hooked up, nothing serious, after that. now just recently like a couple weeks ago he told me he needs to end it between us b/c he needs to focus on school.. (hes been doing really bad and his moms pissed). he said he wants to be cool with me and loves who i am. so we decide to end it, and then i see him with HER. now they have a fling and he ASSURES me that he didnt plan it to be this way and that he never meant to hurt me. he keeps giving me mixed signs and everyone thinks he still likes me. should i let him go, or try to get him back
