I know a guy who seems to try to avoid eye contact with me all the time, except when I'm talking to him directly. Like when I sat across from him a few times, while talking he kept looking with his eyes back and forth between the two people on my left and right, but never in the middle where I was. I found this odd. And if I do catch him looking at me, he quickly glances away without a smile or whatever. And while talking in the middle of a room, he looks at everyone except me. I found this odd. One time while talking to people near me, he kept looking at other people and looking straight past me, but I still stared at him anyways, and as he talked, he finally looked at me and as soon as he did a small smile appeared on his face, he didn't do this to the others, so I smiled back and he looked at someone else.Does any of it sound like flirting to you? He knows I really like him.

I don't know how to approach this problem of mine. I've been with my girlfriend for about 8 1/2 months, and I still can't seem to relax around her SOMETIMES. It is very strange. Most of the time, I don't know how to make conversation with her. I feel socially inept and insecure. I have basically no friends and I'm very introveted, so I don't have much of a life outside of my full time job and college courses. The thing about my gf is that a couple of weeks ago she said she loved me, and I could tell she meant it. She has a four year old daughter. I notice that my gf is more introverted and laughs less around me than others. I sometimes think that I bring her down. I also think that she is settling sometimes. You see, she has cerebral palsy, and I do things to help her out. I sometimes think that she might love me for the things I do rather than for me. She doesn't take advantage of me, and she is very independent. I just don't know what to make of our relationship. Advice

I've been dating this guy for about 8 months now. After the first couple of months he was asking questions (looking to the future) about when we could be together (he lives in another state and I have teenage children). I was hesitant at first and said that it would be at least a couple of years when my kids are out of school.

I thought everything was going well with us (we were seeing each other every other weekend). Until a few weeks ago he said he was coming to see me and didn't. I got upset and then last weekend he seems different and says his job is uncertain and he can't make me any promises about the future.

Sounds like a brush off to me...am I reading too much into this or what?

this was my first year at this school and it seems like everyone went out with everyone before!!
and my friend told me that people have been going out with people since 2nd grade,and this girl done it already,and...WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!?!??!?

ok..i like this boy brandon.Hey goes to my school.I've liked him since last year.I asked him out last year and he just read the note and threw it away.but this year..he is startin' flirt with me.But i like him so much..i cant ask him out..does that make sense?I'm 12..and confused.

And that im just having fun at work where I am a high paid engineer. And that after im done with these revisions I get to go home to my beautiful fiancée of whom has loved me endlessly and effortlessly for the past 3 years as I loved her and I get to go home the cutest baby girl ever to be born. I own a house in south Florida, and have a great life.

Some people have personalities and have fun, others sit here and take things seriously when the majority of the posts are whiney dribble about pre-teen love to which no logical advice can be administered.

Think about that. Whats worth more, some in one ear and out the other advise or a laugh? Id say a laugh.

i have never had a good relationship. always beaten or verbally abused. I am currently in a friends with benefits relationship. He sleeps with me alot, buys me nice things, pays for dinner, cuddles with me, but constantly rememnids me not to get attached. It is too late... in my heart i feel like he feels the same way but is afraid to express it. but i am scared that i will ruin what we have.. but what exactly do we have? Any tips on getting a girlfriend? I never had a girlfriend before nor do I have good female friends. I hear that just because a person has a female friend, that doesn't necessarily means she will become his girlfriend. And that is true. I have heard that 1st appearance matters a lot so will it be better for me if I stop biting my nails and talking to girls? I know for a fact that my voice is a really bad turnoff. My friend say I need to impress a girl with my other qualities. What is the other qualities that I need to find to get a girlfriend? I am 19 years old already. and please do not answer something about money, since if i give a lot of gifts and spend lots of money on her, it would be wasting since it would be too nice and that would be a turnoff. and I wouldn't have a girlfriend. I would just have only a friend.

So there is this girl in my school and she is sooo pretty. Anyway everytime i see her, she always says hello to me and somtimes i catch her looking at me. somtimes when im walking through the hallway and we pass eachother she will rub my arm or pat me on the shoulder. she always tells me that i dress very well and that i look good. i think she likes me, but im not 100% sure. somtimes my mind tells me she is just being nice. I'm going back to Tunisia which is my homeland (northern Africa), In this summer my last year to stay in the states. I have feeling with this girl, her name is Christie, she was beautiful caucasian an American attractive woman. I don't know how to in this feeling goes through, because she didn't know I'm coming back to my country in this summer, next month I'm going to start relationship with her.
