i think this guy at my school likes me, but i'm still not sure. he always compliments me (he even said he liked my shoelaces once!), and he picks up my books when i drop them. and he always hugs me!! he's not a 'playa', either; in fact, i've never seen him hanging out with any other girls.
well, does he or doesn't he like me?
and if he does, what do i do to show him i like him back??

Yeah he might like you! just find out more about him and find out more to be sure. Just asking him if he likes you will be another good way to find out, don't be scared to do that, cause it might work! You could also tell him how you feel about him.Good luck!

Trust me, this guy likes you and want to have contact with your body. Now, do you like him enough and how do you feel about the body contact. The hugging is a dead give away of someone who is just crazy to get his hands on your bod. I would tell him straight out, when no one is listening of course, that you think he's a nice guy and you like him.

hm even though he may not appear to be a player he may be you should check him out more... sorta follow him NOT TOO MUCH you would be too stalker like lol so yeah see about that// cause sometimes them boys can lead you on so you can be there little doormate and its no fun so yeah just check it out..and if he keeps acting this way then flirt with other guys in front of him then glance at him to see his expresion if he looks sad or mad he might really like you // or be thinking about all that Darn homework but don't be to far away too long don't wait till your possitve cause then it might be too late goood luck =]

Guys usually look at the girl they like and they like spending as much time as
possible with her. Usually if he asks to hang out with you or if he starts
conversations with you a lot, then he likes you.
The best way to find out if he likes you though would be to stare at him in
the eyes, make eye contact and wait for a responce. If he smiles and looks away
quickly, then he likes you but is embarrassed to let you know. If he looks at
you, doesn't smile and looks away, then he probably doesn't like you. If he looks
at you and smiles and holds it without breaking eye contact, then he probably
really likes you.

It certainly sounds as though he likes you. The best way to know for sure is to ask him. Spend time with him and get to know him. It won't take long for him to realize you like him too.
