I know that the girl i like have a crush on someone else, and she said she's too shy to ask him out. She's a very sweet girl, she's really popular, and she's pretty also, i think she's asking for a guy that is above standard.............. I'm planing on asking her out. Personally, I would rather not ask someone out when I know they like someone else. What happens if that guy decides he would like to date her?

No one can know for sure, except for her. You don't have much to lose by asking this girl, so just go for it! She could think you're really sweet. It just depends on how close you guys are, how you act toward her, and some other circumstances.

I hope that girl goes for the hottie that she likes and doesn't settle on you, cause thats all it'll be if she does decide to date you. you two aren't even dating and you're already putting her down.
