I guess there may be exceptions, but would you say 99.9 % of white girls only date white guys?

I'm an college freshman, and there's a girl in my English class I'm strongly attracted to. It's been about 2 weeks since the class started. I've had a crush on her since the first day of class; I am a complete sucker for eyes, and she has the prettiests eyes I've ever seen. At first, I sat across from the girl. She looked at me quite often when I used to sit across from the girl. I wasn't sure if I could take that as a sign of her interest, but I started sitting next to her last week. Since then, I have made some progress little by little. Since she's not outgoing, it has been quite hard for me to initiate a conversation. In each of the last two classes, I asked her one question. For example, she brought a pretty coffee mug, so I asked her where she got it, and then our conversation ended. Today, however, I initiated a conversation after class by talking about her research topic. We talked for just about two to three minutes, but (please read additional information as well)

I know better than to try and set girls with guys that are not good-looking. Sometimes I know guys who are kind, make good money, and are fun to be with, but if they are not very very good-looking, I’ll never hear the end of it. Girls don’t seem to care about anything else besides looks when they get set up for a date. Some girls are still mad at me because I set them up on a date with a someone I honestly thought was a catch because of their way of thinking and the money they made, but that never seems to matter.
I think I’m rather good looking because ever since middle school and today after college, girls are always asking my sisters, and my friends to set them up on a date with me, or to have them introduced to me. Sometimes I really don’t like the girls I get set up with, but I can’t say they are ugly because I’ll automatically be a major jerk. However girls can call guys ugly, and not worth their time.

Why can’t guys do the same, and not be labeled as jerks?

I have gone out on about 5 dates with this guy that I like. (we're not boyfriend and girlfriends...we're DATING).. We have been best friends for about a year so it feels like not just like you would feel going out with a complete stranger. I was with my bf for about 9mos. He lost his dad 3 weeks ago. We talked at least once a day. I thought he was handling the death poorly, but I didn't expect him to break up with me over the phone. He stated that he can't handle any relationships right now, and that he just doesn't want to be with anyone. I was really shocked because I had been trying to do everything for him to get him through. I thought this was supposed to bring us closer. I went to his place to get my stuff right after we hung up (bad, I know). We got into a fight, and he just tells me that it's over and that we can't even be friends. I was in complete disbelief. He looked like complete crap-thin, unshaven, etc. I asked him if this is what he truly wanted, and he said yes. I know he did this in anger, but I don't know what to do next. We are both 25+ and had talked about marriage (and VDay the day before!). I know he's depressed, but he refuses to get professional help. What should I do? Call? Leave him alone?

i know boys are called as guys... but sometimes girls call a girls crowd as guys(there is no boys in that crowd)..& sometimes i've seen to denote a crowd(boys&girls) they say guys......

While buying something at a local store I was at a cash register of this girl who works there. I frequent the store from time to time and have made friendly conversation with her before.

The store offers rebates for frequent customers and I never have my card so she has to look it up in their system. I leaned over the counter to look at my information and confirm it for her when I smelled what I thought was her perfume. I said "nice perfume", she initially seemed put off by it but smiled and laughed that she was not wearing perfume but that it may have been her shampoo. I immediately corrected myself and complimented her on her "nice shampoo". We both were laughing and I must say she turned a nice shade of pink.
My question is, would this come off as creepy or just genuine appreciation of a woman? Would most women appreciate a comment like this from someone who is essentially a total stranger?

Im a guy, from california and i been chatting with a girl from mexico. I like her very much. I send her emails everyday so she can know i think of her.
I tell her everytime i chat with her that i miss her, because i truly do.

She says I am a "whiner" and yet i feel slighted for the lack of a simple Birthday card. Crayons and paper would have been enough. Her attitude of me being being petty only adds to the insult. Thought?
