I think you'll be fine when you start feeling like a real woman and knowing your power. Men are very easy to please really! In the meantime you can make lots of mistakes with boys because you have plenty of time to grow up and get confident. Just take all the triumphs and disasters in your stride. You are in training.

The way you interact with others and your overall persona all comes from within. Confidence comes from learning yourself inside and out. Denial is a direct factor in low self esteem. Analyze your strengths and weaknesses. Use your best manners and demeanor around males period whether your interested or not. If a man says something to hurt your feelings, whatever you do dont get all emotional and spew out hurtful things to get him back. Say if your a lil chubby and a guy calls you fat. Dont give out a response that lets him know that it hurt you or that a part of you feels fat & ugly. So when someone says something around you that could be true, accept it and let it roll off of you. By you accepting it gives the next person less power to bring you down and make you feel like your not in control.
Men love women who are confident. I've proven this time and time again. Always look and feel your best. When you keep yourself up (ex.) hair, clothes, make up, perfume etc etc.. Make sure your feeling good on the INSIDE as well. I dont know if your a praying person but that helps me. Reading books on psychology also helped me because it made me understand why people do what they do. So if your doing something and you may not get the response that you were looking for, you wont feel rejected. Fear is the #1 reason why a person will end up with someone that doesnt meet their standard. If your around a great guy and he's all that your looking for, you wont spark his interest if your quiet and passive. Strike up a conversation with him! Have interesting things to say. Look him in the eye. Smile. And last but not least make him laugh. Nothing works better than a smile and eye contact. It's something about that few seconds of eye contact and charm that the other person will not forget.
I hope that helps you. It works for me big time.

Start by making more eye contact. Be assertive, and try to understand that the way you view the situation is totally different than how they will see things. Walk with confidence.. Smile at random people when you make eye contact, and this will build your confidence.

I know what always makes me feel better is when i buy new clothes and shoes.
Also, when you take time to pamper yourself.. you dont have to pay someone you could do it yourself... like geting mani/pedi's done.
Try curling the bottom ends of your hair, it always makes you look refreshed for some reason.. It just helps your confidence to have your hair done.
