Singles & Dating - 10 February 2007

A couple of months ago, I met this girl. Instantly I developed a crush on her. I was always scared to talk to her and I would get extremely nervous passing her in the halls. Until one day when I decided to become her secret admirer, that lasted for a while. Near the end of it, it was obvious that she knew who I was. So I agreed to meet with her. Ever since that we have been the best of friends. We hang out with each other at least twice a week. All of my other friends think that we are secretly dating.
To make matters worse about a week ago my best freind asked her out, but she turned him down.
I dont know what to do, This girl and I are becoming very close and I am not sure if I should ask her out and risk losing our friendship. It would kill me if I lost her all together.
any words of advice?

this is the deal...bf dumped me and i have been asking him back.it's a long story but been together for three years and no cheating and lies between us.
for several reasons he is really pissed off at me. i think he is trying to put up a wall.
i've never really encountered anyone who would lie about having sex; hence my previous question .
reasons why i think he is lying:
1)he's only been with virgins only had sex with three women of his 22 years. that includes me.
2) he has a phobia with "easy" women and std's
3) the only woman calling him is his mom (yeah checked his voicemail)
4)for some reason he has been really angry at me.
5) i don't think that a guy of the above characteristic can have awesome sex after being broken up with me for nearly a month. he was celibate for a year when i met him.

Ok, so I met this guy LASTNIGHT, he worked at a nearby movie place thing.. and well like, i guess we kindof hit it off.. and so he asked if i wanted to go do soemthing after he got off work.. so I said.. "ok".. well, he gets off work, I meet him there, and we drive around in his car to figure out what to do.... we finally just agree to go to a lookout place.... and we stayed there for like... 30 minutes just talking about random thigns... he asked me back to his house.. and like, i said YES!! :(.. we go to his house.. and pretty much do anythign and everything you can think of except sex!... am I a slut???>..

like, i never do these things.....

i felt so.. demoralized.. and dirty...

ok i've been liking this guy and so i did everything i can to get him. i've asked for his number and i called him a couple of times and talked, but he only called me like three times ... he doesn't notice me a lot. sometimes he will, but sometimes no. i know he's sometimes jack-a** and he's a big flirt. my friends told me to forget about him and that's wat i did. then i went to a party and he was there and i danced with him A LOT :D like i danced wit him a lot that by end of the night my hair smells like him. but idk ... will he still notice me at school? or just notice me? i'm just glad that i'm kinda over him ... but should i still try to like him again?

My best friend has been separate from her ex boyfriend for over a year living her life and they finally decided to meet up and see each other. A safe place, one where it is smart and safe to go being a single woman. In a new city where you know NO one. A place to meet Frinds and even guys. Any Ideas? He is cute but sometimes..he gets on my nerves cuz all he ever says to me is that he is hott...in a way I kinda believe it but then I dont want to.
He used to be very disgusting saying imature things about girls in my class room and I would slap him for whatever he said.
But now that Valentines Day is coming....he has been very sweet asking me if I think I am going to my scools Valentine Dance...& I keep on telling him that i am not.He keeps on telling me that I am that I will go becuz this dance is only if u behave good I really havent.He has been saying also that I am a very nice girl that why wouldnt i go..he is kinda I guess trying to say that I am a sweet girl.

we're both 19, and been together for 4 months and we fight every week. 2 months after we started going out he made me say i love you but he never said it back. He said if i didnt say it, then he will walk out. I did love him so i said it. When i asked him why he made me say it, he said its because he knew that i loved him and he had another good reason why but he forgot what it was. Since then, we keep fighting everytime we talk about our relationship because he doesnt like to talk about our relationship. He also said that he will never remember the reason why he made me say "i love you".
Also, he tried to break up with me 3 times already because he hates choosing between me and his friends. I told him that if thats what he really wants then he should do what he wants to do. But he said that he cares about me and he wants to take care of me and he wants to give it another try. This girl I worked with I fell in love with. I have known her for three years. She has always wanted to date me and I felt a huge connection to her, I'm pretty sure she did to. She told me that she loved me a couple of times and I never responded. I felt the circumstances warranted that I couldn't tell her how I felt. I woke up in December realized that I might never see her again. I panicked and tried to contact her. Apparently she never ever knew that I had really strong feelings for her. I sent her a letter where I spilled my guts to her and apologized. She never got it, I thought she did and I totally screwed up. I scared her probably because she never knew I had feelings for her, she never got my apology letter, when I contacted her it coincided with her turning the age of consent in my state and I went a little overboard. She doesn't want to talk to me, probably cause I scared her. Should I try and contact her to get closure?

Well i ment this girl in real life when she was visting my friend. She lives in a different state so after she left we started talking over the internet and we became really close. She told me she like me over the internet and we saw each other like 3 other time after we ment. Then when she was down here one time she ment this other guy and she started going out with him and we stop talking. But now she moved here and she broke up with that guy she was going out with but we still don't talk that much.
