A couple of months ago, I met this girl. Instantly I developed a crush on her. I was always scared to talk to her and I would get extremely nervous passing her in the halls. Until one day when I decided to become her secret admirer, that lasted for a while. Near the end of it, it was obvious that she knew who I was. So I agreed to meet with her. Ever since that we have been the best of friends. We hang out with each other at least twice a week. All of my other friends think that we are secretly dating.
To make matters worse about a week ago my best freind asked her out, but she turned him down.
I dont know what to do, This girl and I are becoming very close and I am not sure if I should ask her out and risk losing our friendship. It would kill me if I lost her all together.
any words of advice?

but don't tell her directly, here are somethings you can do to tell her you like her;
1. you can write a poem or song that tells her how you feel (girls like that)
2. ask a someone you really trust to tell her
3. go to a movie, sit on a park, or go to a restaurant together to "get to now each other better" and tell her how much fun you had on your "date"

I went through the same thing with my current boyfriend, and I asked him out anyway. Things have been going great ever since... and I am not worried about the end because if and when it comes I know we will still be friends because neither of us would ever do anything to hurt the other.
If she knew you were the secret admirer, she knows that you like her. She might just be waiting for you to ask her out... which would explain why she turned your friend down.

Ask her. The best love starts out as friendship. If she doesn't feel the same way - that's something friends can talk about.
Don't hang around in terrible indecision - you'll just drive yourself nuts, and probably end up doing something stupid.
Ask her - tell her you'd like to ask her out as a date, not just as a friend, and see what she says.

ive been in this situation and i just know its probably killing you. just tell her how you feel, buy her a rose and ask her out. its the best thing to do. the worst thing will be if she says no, but chances are youll still be friends and may even get closer still. chances are this girl likes you though, i mean shes still your friend and still hangs out with you even though she knows youre her secret admirer. just do it.... at the very least itll make you relax and get this feeling off your chest......

......and by the way in my case it turned out she liked another guy (he didnt like her back) and we became close friends and are still getting closer (still hopoeful lol) but my point is it helped alot that she knows

well she knew it was you with the secret admirer. just ask her in like a general way how she feels about you. like a "i'm not saying i like you like this but what would you say if i did?" kind of way. even though that statement i just gave probably isn't the best

I hooked my cousin up with a woman who's a good friend of mine, (they're both about 45 yrs old.) & he takes her out every weekend but it's not a romantic or steady date, they just go out as friends, & they are both happy that way.-that's a suggestion.

She is probably waiting for you to step forward and ask her out.
Stop being so insecure, if she is turning others down is because she likes you. If she knew it was you, its because she was probably hoping you will ask her out one day. Know that you are friends, do something before someone else does!!!!!!!!!!!

just tell her how u feel but also say that u dont want this to mess the friendship up. if she likes u shes tell u she has feelings for u to and if it mess the friendship up then it wasnt meant to be.GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!
