Well it doesn't sound great, I think you need to talk to him, if he's become distant you should try and find out why. Unless he's planning a surprise for valentines day...but I cna't think why he would be avoiding you. I think you need to have a serious talk to him, and you deserve a better guy, someone who will give you some attention! I don't you necessarily should stop him from 'dumping you' because he's not treating you right. Find out what's up with him, and if he's still not willing to talk I would end it first and say you can't go on wondering why he won't reply and if it's something you've done.
Hope that helps and it works out for the best for you.

He's most likely lost interest and is trying to get you to dump him so that he won't have to dump you.

You can either make both of you happy and dump him. He obviously won't care and you definitely deserve better.

Or, you could stoop to his level and also ignore him and act the same way he does. See how he feels. I wouldn't recommend this though.

Be the better person and just dump him. He's not worth your time.

If he really is planning something special for V-Day, he could've found a better way to do it. Besides, the fact you dumped him because he kept ignoring you wouldn't stop him from doing something special. He would still do it, if he truly cared.

But I hate to say this: 5 weeks is not a long time to be with someone. I HIGHLY doubt he would go through a lot of effort to do something extra special.

Hi!

I think you already know the answer to this question - you've already been dumped without the actual words having been spoken.

You SO deserve better. Give him a wide berth and move onto better things!!

Best of luck!

If his ignoring you in passing then he cant have that strong a feelings for you or care about how you feel. Five weeks isn't long, cut your losses and dump him and move on and find someone who wants to spend time with you and cares about you.

YES,he is ready to dump you,the only thing you can do to stop him is dumping him first, and about your friends I think they do know something but they don't like you enough to tell you what is really going on

Seeing this same behaivour from my freinds boyfreind(S)over the years,
yes,he is going to dump you,so dump him first, his just giving out the message to you clearly, but your failing to recognise it.
Just dump him before he does to you.

Good Luck! x

Yes he's trying to ditch you, but don't try to stop him! Find someone else -- you know you can -- and really enjoy yourself rather than sitting around worrying. And I bet he won't like to know you're having a lovely time with a new boyfriend. It sounds to me like he'd rather hear you're sitting on the sofa heartbroken, so don't give him that pleasure.

Ring him up and ask him what he's up to? If he's all non- committal, then you be the first to dump him. He sounds like a moron. Plenty more fish in the sea, sweetie.
