Singles & Dating - 6 February 2007

I have been together with my boyfriend for 7 months now. Fights are less, but he doesnt say i love you, or call me as much as he use to, he would get annoyed by little things beacuse i may be quiet and not say anything at times. I feel that hes very hard to talk to at times, because he would find a lot of things wrong with me, he always like to be in control and have things his way at times. When we argue he always have to be the one who is right. Im very nice, caring and giving, i cook for him, care for just as much. So what is really thats making him act this way? Anything i can do or say to him to make him realize how he acts towards me or let me know that he appreciates things i do for him?

I accidently left my journal (which was in my backpack) in my girlfriends car and she read it. She came over yesterday and cried a lot, but we finally talked about it. I had written things about how I felt I didn't love her, though I cared about her as a friend, and some other things. In the end, we decided that we'd give it a little while longer, and see how things work out. I'm uncertain whether I will grow to love her (We've already been dating for 1 year 5 months) and she said she felt that she didn't really love me either, but felt that it could happen. I'm not sure if we are just prolonging the inevitable, and if it would be better if her and I were to just break up now, so she doesn't hold false hopes? What should I do?

I met him at another schools homecoming. we both live in small towns however two highschools. one private one not. We have talked in person at homecoming. and we have been texting 24/7 and IMing. He moved me to his top friends on myspace. I am first girl on the list. (#8) and the first girl. so....he has been trying to get ahold of me and I never have my phone on when he calls so I miss the call. I am going to call him soon though.

Me and this girl i work with are both attracted to each other.
We flirt when ever we see each other.

Thing is someone else asked her out the day before i did. She said she would have said yes if i asked first.

Since then we have been on a date/well hung out, and she said she was confused as to what she was going to do.

Would it be too over the top to put a rose under her winscreen wiper on the tuesday night before valantines?

I have a big feeling she is single (as she is flirting a lot more than usual), and will ask on friday when i next see her, but even if she is with this guy still, should i?

should i leave it annonymous or leave a note if i do. I just want to show her i do care about her.

Also is one rose enough?

Okay, here is my problem. I am forty years old and I am turning 41 in April. I make a very good living, I take 3 months of holidays and I travel every year, I own my own home, but I’m 40 and I am attracted to women in their 20s. I meet a nice woman and we start to hit it off. She asks me how old I am and I say, “Guess”. They usually guess somewhere in the early thirties (I have even had 29 a few times) and I don’t correct them. If I tell them I’m 40 right after meeting them, that’s usually the end of the conversation. If they find out I’m 40 after they get to know me, no problem.

So, do I lie when I first meet them?
In addition, what about on line?(like lavalife and such)

She's my coworker, and when we are at work and she tries to get my attention she grabs my arms alot. I mean I have big muscular arms and all and she may just like how they feel, but I don't see her doing this to any of the other guys I work with. Also she is very nice to me and even baked me brownies for my birthday. Also when I talk or joke around about sexual topics, she gets very gitty and laughs in a different way then if another person talks about sex. Also we have so many things in common and I am inclined to believe she realizes this because she has mentioned on a few occassions that we think alike and understand each other better than the rest of our coworkers. My gut feeling is that she has feelings for me, however in the back of my mind I say no way, she's just very charming and just wants to be my friend because we have a great deal in common .

I've been seeing someone for 8 months now who I've spent almost everyday w/. I have a 6yo who he knew about from day 1. He doesn't have any children so its a new situation for him. Everything has been fine (so I thought). He just now tells me he's not ready for the whole family thing & he doesn't think it would be fair to keep coming around knowing he's not ready for it. In the same breath he's also telling me that he doesn't want to stop talking to me (but he has) & that Im his ideal woman, who he could see himself w/..."forever". How does this make sense? My ex changed his mind about us so fast, is it really that easy for guys? We talked about always being together and everything seemed to be going really well. But then he stopped calling me for a week. A few days later he told me half of him still loved me and half of him wanted to just be friends so we broke up. After that he has givin me every reason there is to why we didn't work. We didn't mesh well, we weren't meant to be together, he didn't like how I talked about the future(he did to), he dosn't love me at all, we will never be together,... and things of that nature. How can his mind change in just two weeks? He had talked about how I would be a great mother, how he wanted me to take his last name, this was all two weeks before he stopped wanting to be with me. He even told his best friend that I was the girl he was going to marry. The only problem during the relationship is he didn't think he was good enough for me. How could his mind change in just two weeks?

I just had a talk with my boyfriend about how he's been acting recently. I told him that the vibes i get from him are that he's not that interested in me anymore and that it's kind-of like an "eh if i stay with her great but if not o well." That's the vibe i get from him.
