Singles & Dating - 6 February 2007

I think a majoirty of white/black people look down on dark hispanics and think they're better than them. I look around my classroom, and I don't see any blacks/whites mingling with hispanics...mayb just a 1 or 2 but that's bout it. What do you think?

I know we're already ex, doesnt matter if we get back together. I called him alot and his mom got annoyed or whatever. But thing is, I have 2 hang out with him a lot. Why? My bff Allana and I live in his neighborhood, and Allana's brothers are friends with my ex, so when i go 2 her house, we hang out w/ him when we hang out w/ allana's brothers. so of course, i see his mom. i feel really bad, i really dont like it when people hate me! i wish i could say something, but i've never even talked 2 his mom b4! so it would be kinda awckward. 29 years old. Considering saying the "L word". She is 25 recently divorced (1 year). Not my first (or second) "serious" (never married) relationship.............Ijust know this is right. Is it too soon? Should I concern myself with some sort of timetable?

Okay, we all know that some guys like to play rough with a girl they like to kinda get their attention or keep their attention. You know, stuff like poke them or pull their hair or trip them, etc. My question, do girls do the same thing when they like a guy?

im 26 and my gf just left me for the second time in our 8 year relationship to be alone and maybe travel. she reckons she is not ready to give me what i want and settle down. She doesnt want anyone else and i believe that. I am moving on and doing my own thing now but because of our great history and the fun we had i maybe hold a glympse of hope that she may want me back. When we split i told her not to contact me or call etc, we have a house and bank accounts together so there is some sorting out to do but i dont like the way i left things. A part of me wants to write a letter and clear up the no contact thing incase she decides to work on things again. The catch is i feel as though i took control of the situation by saying no contact and i dont want her to think i am waiting around just waiting for her, i want her to know my intentions are to move on. So should i just leave things and trust that if she wants to sought things out she will call me or should i write a patch up letter?

My bf and I differ on a lot of important things..we've been together for 9 months and recently started talking about a future togther. Prob is that he has a major problem with homosexuality, but i have people in my family that are gay, and i support it. he wants to raise his kids in a strong and strict Christian household, but i would rather let my kids make their own decisions..and he is a complete mama's boy..and i cant stand his mom! and i doubt she likes me either...and i wanna live in africa for a year or two when i become a doctor, and he says he probably can't deal with that, but i'm not giving that up for him...how do we deal with this? we are both fairly young, so i try not to put too much thought into it...but he keeps making plans and i'm completely unsure of how our future looks..any comments or suggestions?

i am a full time student, but i commute to school (much cheaper this way!). after class, i hang out with my friend and his roomates (they live in a suite. 4 people!) i am friends with this guy "junior" and his one roomie, "steve". my parents dont like my best friend i have been friends with him for 6 years, 2 years ago he moved to another state so i only get to see him during the summer when he comes here to stay with his mom, my mom claims she has never met him although he has been to my house so many times i have lost count hes like an older bro to me but she doesnt understand that she thinks he wants one thing from me but i know for a fact he doesnt anyways today is my bday so he called to say happy bday and what not well my mom answered the phone and said, "devin its CJ" i held out my hand for the phone and she told CJ "devin doesnt want to talk to u right now pls dont call back, well that just crushed him so i went "for a walk" my mom took my cell so i couldnt call him but my freind brought hers so i could and i called him back and told him what my mom did he isnt mad at me anymore but still y would my mom do that i think it might be because we act like brother and sister so when i go he says love u sissy and I say love u to well I think my mom might have heard that and assumed I tried to explain but she wont listen to me we talk a lot on the computer and my lil sis loves him, but what can I do about my mom she HATES it when I talk to him AND she yells at me when I get off, someway to treat a guy that saved my life but still what can I do?

Okaii so my bf nbroke up with me friday and all he did was text...we're done and then yesterday he texted me and was like hey so i asked him why he broke up with me and he said because he got bored and felt like it......he's been texting me and sayin stuff like putting me down...and acts as if he's joking...maybe he is but it still hurts and i can't help thinking if its true or he's just trying to hurt me? i like a boy and we sometimes talk and hes nice 2 me. he knows i like him but he doesnt know that i know that he knows that i like him. i see the most beautiful, most sweet, smartest, most amazing girls always dating the most rediculous guys. For example, there is a girl at my school thats by alll standards "amazing" and she went back out with her boyfriend after she found out that he cheated on her. From what i hear they fight every so often too...
Is ther something that us nice guys (me) weren't blessed with when we were born. I mean im no albert einstein, no arnold.. .im not a magazine model.. im just yur average guy. I go to the gym, im in college and i dont think im ugly by any means. sooo whats really the problem? i have yet to figure this out, girls are truely amazing..

I have seen this guy around school. When I first walked passed him, I noticed at the corner of my eye that he was staring at me (my face, to be exact.) I looked back at him, and he did not avert his gaze. And now, whenever we walk pass each other, I noticed that he'd look straight ahead, then when we're a foot from each other, he'd glance at me for a couple of seconds, then look away. (I saw this at the corner of my eye)

Does he think I'm attractive? What exactly is he thinking?
Next time, should I maintain eye contact and smile?

We don't know each other at all, if that helps.
