My answer would have to be no. I feel like you can make a clearer choice of life mates when you have experienced life fully. The way I see it is, I wouldn't buy a car I never test drove. I also wouldn't drive a car with complete confidence without a driver's license. I just wonder how you can know you want to be with someone for life? How will you know this is all you'll ever want or need? If you have nothing else to compare them too how will you know? How can you be sure that once you marry that person you won't start wishing you had more? I do believe virginity is precious but, Let's say you save yourself for marriage and it ends in divorce. What now do you wait till you get married again to have sex? Is your love making with the next person less precious? Is the virginity you gave to the first person a waste? Plus getting married does not protect you from STD'S . There are all too many married people carrying the AIDS virus because of their spouse.

I believe you should wait until all of the following are honestly and purely true in the minds the couple:

1) you unconditionally love, trust, and are fully committed to the other person
2) you can see yourself being with this person the rest of your life
3) you plan to engage in sex responsibly, but regardless of the outcome, you are aware of and prepared for the good and the bad consequences of sex

Marriage technically is a ceremony or rite performed within the context of a religion, and a legal contract in the eyes of the law.

So if a couple meets the criteria above, it doesn't matter if they are married. A couple that meets this criteria is no different on the day before they are married or the day after. It's the emotional connection that counts.

I'm not going to. All I know is I can avoid the risk of STDs, getting pregnant and all the general drama that sex entails. The biggest reason is you become involved emotionally and physically with someone in a huge way when you have sex, and if you're not married they might end up leaving you and then you'll have to go through so much more heartache than if you had never slept with them in the first place. Plus it will make it more special when I do get married.

When this rule can about people use to marry young (13-18). Now in days people don't get married 'til about 22 or older so it's kinda hard to wait. I think if you use protection it's fine and as long as both partners can live with the consequences you don't even need that.

Poeple should wait. But that doesnt mean the STDs and abortions are going to stop. The only real way to prevent htis from happening is to wait til your are ready and you know that your partner is ready to or just dont have sex at all.

STD's gets out of control because people are still not using protection like they should. There are foolish people out there who thinks it can't happen to them.

I know it's not 100% full proof but it's still best to use it.

Most definately.. sex is an intamite thing.. you dont want to do it with just anybody.. only with the person you're gonna spend the rest of your life with.. also.. it does resolve the problems of abortions and pregnancies and all that bad stuff at a young age

I think you should wait. It will be something worth the wait because when your married it feels right and you know ur gunna spend ur life with that person and if ur just dating then u might break up or something and they could get into the whole pregnancy thing. Its a bad idea to not wait.

No I don't believe in that at all... The folks having sex are the one's that will reproduce and pass their gene's onto the next generation. If you don't reproduce at some point then there's not much point in your ever having been here in the first place, and marriage is not for everyone.
