the way he saved my life was, i was riding a dirtbike with him and no one else was home we were about a mile away when we went over a jump and i wrecked because the bike was screwed up and the bike went sideways and i got thrown into a tree and it knocked me out he ran all the way home and called my dad and ran back and sat with me until my dad got there then he sat with me in the car until we got to the ER and the next week when i got out of the hospital he stayed with me until i could walk on my own, then he would check up on me every now and then i think that made us grow closer

WOW, I SO KNOW THE FEELING. Something like that happen to me when I was dating a guy my mom didn't like. U maay just have to talk with ur mom about this. Try to talk to her about this and tell her that he's just a friend and nothing more. How did he safe ur life/

Maybe because he safed ur life is why she feels about him the way she does.

It sounds strange but sometime when someone does something so nice or noble a person can feel like they can't ever pay them back and thanks yous can only go so far. So because nothing else they can say or do to show how grateful they are they start to resent the person.

Talk with u mom amd see what will happen

I can understand where your coming from. I also have a best guy friend, we've been friends for over 5 yrs. My "parents" hated him because they thought that we were going out, or we were doing something else. And my mom hit him once...now that was totally wrong! Because he's a guy, parents just dont trust girls whos best friend is a guy.

What I did was I talked to my parents. And you should do the same. It wont be easy, but it will take the weight off your shoulders. Try and make her understand that he helps you, in whatever situation your in. And tell her if he wasnt your best friend, why would he come and visit you? You have to try and make her like him, tell her good things about him. And dont try to argue with your mom, it'll make it worse.

Good luck...hope this helps a little.

Yeh, USUALLY moms are like that. Try to talk to her. Ask her why she hates your friend. But TRY VERY HARD not to raise your voice or whine because if you do then it's a TOTAL NO. Your mom should have pretty "bad" reasons on why she hates him. Cuz from what you told it seems like he's a good guy. But anyway just keep trying to talk to her and remember to be mature and she'll listen.
