29 years old. Considering saying the "L word". She is 25 recently divorced (1 year). Not my first (or second) "serious" (never married) relationship.............Ijust know this is right. Is it too soon? Should I concern myself with some sort of timetable?

If that's how you really feel then there is nothing wrong saying it. My current partner and I told each other that we loved each other sooner than three months and we have been together for over a year now.

There's no timetable....say it when it feels right. i've been in relationships where it was said after only a few weeks, and another where we were together for 3 years and neither of us said it. although i know that we both felt it, i think that it went on so long without saying it, that we felt that it had to be the 'perfect moment' which never came up. now i feel that as soon as you want to say it you should, because if you wait until you feel that it's perfect, you may never say it.

It's always best to be honest. Telling someone you love them that early on may throw them off, depending on the person. It may also even make them withdrawl a little. She may feel she is obligated to say it back when she is not ready. I think the best thing to do, given the circumstances, is to SHOW her you love her. Actions speak louder than words and when the moment arrives, you will know and then you can finally tell her what you've been wanting to say!

sometimes it's better to wait. however you should be getting some signals from her.
if you think she's waiting for you to say it and you don't , you might be in trouble...
however if you say it and she's not ready for that , you could be in trouble....

just ask her how she feels about you, and take your cues from that, and go from there.

love has no timetable, but i have already had a guy tell me that he loved me after only a week, and another after 5 months, so there you go.
this was me waiting for them to say it first too, mind you.

No! If it feels right and you feel she will be receptive of it....go for it. Life is short. 29 & 25 is the perfect age to begin a beautiful life together.

My current husband and I said "I love you" at around 3 months in our relationship. :-) Say it when you feel comfortable but understand in her situation she may not feel comfortable saying it back, despite her actual feelings. Brains have a tendency to kick into overdrive and be protective of the heart when going through break-ups and divorces.

I don't think there is a specific time which you should say it. It varies from relationship to relationship and only you can answer this question. If you feel it, say it. If not, wait until you feel it to say it. Good luck!

I believe there should not be a timetable on love. If your partner died tomorrow you would have wished that you told her how you felt.

If you are not sure of her feelings, say to her "I think I am falling in love with you" and see how she reacts. If it is positive, then you will know that it is a good time to start saying it.

Love doesn't go follow a timeline. When it happens, it happens. It could take days, weeks, months, or years. If you know in your heart it is right, then say it.
