and now that its over he is telling me he realized how he is in love with me and that i am great girl and he wants to be with me....could he be serious or those he just want me back because hes male ego is driving him crazy since i dont want him back and im moving on?

Well you broke up with him and I'm sure that he didn't want to break up before all that. He wanted your relationship to be the same as it was when he wasn't giving you enough attention. He didn't want to put out the effort, but now that you aren't around he realizes that having to put out the effort is better than not having you around at all.
If you really don't want him back, none of this should matter. If you want to move on then move on and don't be guilted into giving a second chance. If you want to give a second chance you better make sure he won't slip into his old habits.

If he wasn't giving you any attention before, then this seems like a control issue, now he wants what he doesn't have...it is true that sometimes ppl make mistakes, but you know him best, so you are the one who needs to ultimately decide if he's worth another chance....if you give him one more, just make sure he knows what you want out of him...and if he still doesn't measure up, then that's it, he blew it and you deserve to spend your time with someone who can meet your needs...

You're awesome. I wish more women were like you. If he wasn't giving you the time of the day (and it wasn't for a very good reason), then you don't need to play along to his games. If you went back to him, what makes you think he wouldn't revert to not paying attention to you a week later?
