If you were 24 and your 17 year old girl friend you loved was moving away to college (2hours away) would you stay with her (long distance relationship or break it off? what if my b/f broke it off with me but calls every two weeks and wants to keep in touch adn maybe get back together one day - but he is now dating others. does he really love me and hope to get back together? does it make sense that he broke up with me b/c he wants me to enjoy my college life and all and the long distance was hard?

This girl and i have had this on and off thing for about 6 months now, One night she told me she really really likes me. But every time i get closer to her, its like she runs for the hills. 11 months ago I got high and drunk just like tonight. I stayed at my best friends house that night because of the snow storm . He couldn't make it home either so he stayed at his brothers house.His wife and I got all messed up and had sex. She had a baby 9 months later.She and I are the only ones who know this and we are writting this question together.We had a DNA test and Paul is mine and I want my child . She wants me to move on and I want to stay. She loves her husband and is so sorry but I love my child . She wants me to be like uncle Bill or something but I want to be Daddy.I also don't wan't to loose the best friend I ever had who is her husband. Last night my best friend sent me a big shocker, he told me that over Christmas, he realized that I was someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. We've considered dating on several occasions but the timing has never been right. He got out of a major relationship about a 2 months ago, and right now we agreed its best for us to both be single. But how do you react to such an emotional, and weighty confession? He told me a lot of the reason he can't allow himself to be in a relationship with me is because he knows that if he starts it with me, it is never going to end. Honestly, I can see it happening too. But I have no clue what sort of reaction to give. Obviously, we wouldn't be running to the altar anytime in the near future. It was like last night was somehow some form of confirmation, that hey, one day we're going to go get married...Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

1st scenario: how do you refuse if a random guy ask you for your phone number? like how do you not sound mean?
2nd scenario: so there's a school dance. and a guy you kinda like asks you to the dance. is it ok to say yes right away, or will that make you sound too desperate?
3rd scenario: there's a school dance. but this time a guy you don't know, but is from your school, asks you to the dance. if you say "i will think about it", when and how should you get back to him to tell him yes or no?
4th scenario: what if you have no interest whatsoever to go with the guy, is it ok to say no right away? how do you word it to make it sound more polite?

see, my bf and i have been together for over 3 years now, and he's is talking about having a baby and he wants to plan on it, but whenever i talk about getting married first , he doesnt wanna do it, he wants to wait for that he says that marriage is a big step,but as far as i know, having a baby is much more important , i just would like to do it step by step, you know first step 1 then 2, i dont wanna jump right on the step 3 . anyways the kind of thinking he has, worries me and scares me, if he doesnt wanna comit to being married, how is he going to comit to being a parent? i mean, his parents were together for 5 years and they had him unexpectedly ,things didnt work out and they got separated when he was 2 years old... does that have anything to do with his way of thinking?

divorce will be final in a few weeks if all goes well. It's very sad but at the same time I'm glad it will finally be over. it wasn't my choice, hubby cheated and crushed my heart, but it's been over 2 years we've been apart. And I have not dated or anything, out of self respect, just because marriage didnt mean much to him, it's still a sacred thing to me. I am 5' 120lbs. petite, green eyes, blonde hair and looking for someplace to meet people and make new friends, not for anything serious but to get myself out there and start my life over, a new beginning. Any one have ideas on where or how to do that, its been over 24 years sense i've dated or went out on my own as a single lady. Ideas and suggestions would surely be appreciated. Thanks

So there this guy that i havent really talked to in the last 2 weeks and today he texted me today saying, "Did you forget about me?" (mind you we dont live in the same province/state) and sent him, like 3 msgs basicaly saying no i didnt, hey, hows it going... and he didnt reply to any of them.
If he didnt want to reply, why'd he text me in the first place?

Woo.
If you dont like stories dont read this.
I hung out with the guy I like today and other friends.
It was fuuuuun. We actually talked alot this time.
Then we were all going to go out to eat but couldnt find a ride so him and his friend walked to a fast food restaraunt and when they were leaving his friend started walking away and then the guy I like stopped and turned around and said by to all of us, but looked at me.
Then 2 friends and I ended up walking to the same place he had just went to, but we didnt talk there cause we didnt sit together because we didnt want to like invade there seats.
But when he left he said See Yea to us again, and looked at me.
And yea, it was fun to hang out with him and actually talk this time.

Except you can kind of tell he gets a little nervous talking to me and stuff so what are some ways to make us a little more comfortable around eachother?
Yupp, this was kind of pointless but I thought I would share. Advice would be great!
