Does he know of your desire? Are you good friends with him? Or is your relationship a professional one?
Perhaps it is time to stop "looking" and send a male friend or family member to his door to chat with him on this matter if you don't feel comfortable about dealing with him personally.
You could send him a nice letter or even a gift on his birthday or perhaps let your family invite him over for dinner.

from the information u have given in ur question,i guess that u mustn't have much of a problem trying to attract someone...but if this dr.rahul is so immune to u and shows nothing, not even dislike or disapproval to u and whatever u did to attract him, then i should conclude that he is gay,a homosexual. try finding out a little more about his personal life,like,his friends,who he sees and goes out with.etc.it may be helpful.
