Singles & Dating - 14 January 2007

Ok I've been dating this guy on and off for 8 yrs now. 4 months ago I went to Haiti with my mom and he told me that he had paid some girl from canada to marry him and get him there and he would marry me once he gets to canada, blah, blah, blah!
We had a great time there and my mom and I came back home. We kept in touch and would spend hrs on the phone(very expensive). Well last night I called him and he told me that the girl had gone to Haiti to marry him and blah, blah, blah!
Now what? I don't really like this and I don't know what to say really. I just said well that's great and left it at that, it was a very ackward conversation actually. Finally he told me he'd call me today and I hang up the phone. But what do I make of this?

the guy that i had sex with for the first time was not a virgin, but i was. the first time we had sex together he didn't talk a lot at all, but the second time he was much more caring and physically helpful, and he constantly asked me if i was alright. he treated me more like a virgin the second time.

My boyfriend is mad at me because I said that I've gone back to going to church and that I'm not having sex with him cause I'm not doing it until I'm married. He asked for a bj I said no, he said "hand job?" I said no then he said I'm a bad girlfriend... I'm so sad right now, I'm really depressed about my boyfrind, all he ever has time for is his job , shcool and his stupid hobby of rasing chickens, he never has time for me and I dont really think he cares for me anymore, I do so much for him , I'm loveing and faithful , and always there for him , but he doesn't show he cares , should I talk to him or should I just cheat on him. I fear I have mental issues. It terrifies me!!! My mother is mentally ill and I'm always afraid I'm going to end up like her and signs are pointing toward it. I've been dating a wonderful man since July. I haven't dated anyone else since my divorce a few years ago. I met him and knew that (even though I thought I'd never want to be with anyone else again...) he was the one for me. I have been going through much stress lately... My dad is dying, my mom is driving me insane, my kids have been sick, we've had several power outages because of weather... it goes on and on. My boyfriend told me of his plans for today (which didn't include me). I was hurt because it is something he knows I would love to do with him and he didn't even ask me to go. I ended up blowing up about something small instead of the main issue and I went overboard BIG TIME! I'm so embarrassed and shamed. I fear it is over. Apologizing isn't going to fix this problem. I honestly don't know what my question is.

when they realize that i go for the drunkest, slutttiest girl i can find that has so self respect for herself? all my friends that are girls think im a jerk, but then agian what do they expect me to do? go for a sober girl that is probably a feminist and is looking for a long term relationship?

My friend called me drunk one night and left a message, she said that her friend liked me and then the phone eventually got passed to the said friend who said she wanted to kiss me and how I would be her new years kiss because neither of us had one. Well, I have long black trimmed healthy naturally black hair.I wear my hair straight down.(My hair is up to my back and I keep it VERY clean!!) I usually NEVER wear my hair down. And I'm new to this school so, everyone, well to narrow it down, it's mostly the girls, are always complaining about something bad about me. There always talking about how I should put my hair up, and why do you lawasy leave it down, put it up. (And I don't like wearing it up because I just don't want to. Not that it looks bad or anything). And they're ALWAYS telling me to cut my hair and that it's too long and all that. One girl was walking behind me and she pretended to cough while saying "DEAD ENDS! DEAD ENDS!" And then another girl was like talking about "her" hair saying " I hate dead ends" and she looked at me while saying it. And I don't have any dead ends. It's like they care more about me then they do themselves. I'm trying not to let it get to me but it's hard. What do I do? I'm a very nice person.

Last night my boyfriend and I went out for a drink. We went past a take-out and I asked if my partner would go in to see if they did pizzas as I had our dog with me. He just kept telling me to go do it myself but I couldn't leave the dog. I shouted at him and called him lazy and then he grabbed me and pushed my face up to a shop window and threatened to push my head through it. We walked home arguing and I was really upset. When we got home I went into the bedroom and told him I was going to sleep. He stood over me and said that he was going to rape me.

This isn't the first time he's threatened me, but usually he's excessively drunk and we're at home already. He wasn't drunk last night, in fact he was more or less sobre. He's never done anything apart from shout at me when we've been out.

The thing is that I can't leave. I have nowhere else to go and I cannot afford to live by myself. Is there anything else I can do to stop this?
