She loves an argument, but hates arguing. She hates silence, especially mine. She's complex and determined. But, oh boy, do I love that woman!

Definately a good argument - life would be too boring to live in silence. There needs to be some action.

a good argument because at least the sides r open to each other and get to see from a different perspective. if there's only silence then the disagreement will always be there. might as well argue and get it over with

if a situation becomes so heated that it is about to evolve into an argument, then it would be wise to be silent until the anger subsides, then to have an adult discussion concerning the situation, as when arguments occur we tend to say things during the heat of the moment that we usually end up regretting. a discussion shows maturity, self control and respect for ones self and fellow man. we all say we hate this world, and its wars, but how do these wars start ? Most of the answers given to this question is to argue, god help us all.

A "good argument" is an oxymoron. A good discussion is preferred...or happy, contented silence.

sometimes silence with a quelling look is the only argument needed.

i like to start off with the silent treatment, until he asks me whats wrong, at which point i unleash my torrent of anger upon him, and the argument starts. All the best arguments are preceded by the silent treatment.

There's a time and place for everything.
Sometimes, it's better remained silent as you might say things both of you could regret.
But it's never a good thing to ignore a problem.
It's got to be dealt with one way or the other.
