Well all the effort, he must be exhausted ;]
Some men get up and go to the bathroom, others go for water, some want to grab a snack.. it really depends.
Honestly, i've had this happen a few times, and if it offends you or if you'd like to cuddle, talk to him about it.
Say that you'd like to cuddle or talk (if you do), pretty easy!
But yes.. unfortunatly.. it's totally normal.
