I think 6 months may be a little soon. I moved in with my boyfriend after a year together (against my parents wishes) and we are happily married now. If you do move in together keep all money separate, share all the bills like he is a roommate, that way if it doesn't work out it can be a clean break.

It is ultimately your decision and you can;t base it on what others say you have to do what you feel is right My boyfriend and I moved in together at 6 months and we'll be together a year in February. My boyfriend and I hope to get married someday but foe now we just enjoy having each other around. But if you feel lkikes it something you want to do go for it but keep in mind that you might want to talk about what should happen in the event of a breakup will you stay together till the other is steady enough to get their own place? What are rules of the house stuff like that if in the end you still want to do it go for it you family isn't you and if your old enough to be responsible for yourself the choice is yours My family didn't approve either but they eventually adjusted(and I moved 300 miles away) Best Wishes ;-)

A lot of people say, it would be best to wait until you are married... but I think it depends on how close you are to the person. If its a serious relationship, and you've known each other for quite some time... then I think it doesn't matter. But you have to realize that a lot of responsibility will come along. You have to consider who will pay what bill, how you will pay it, and if you are ready to take on something like that. If you're old enough I think the decision is up to you!

Noooooooo.
Here's a quote from Scrubs:
About a year ago, Jordan said she wanted to "crash for a while." Now my office is a nursery, my closet is my office, my clothes are in the entertainment center, and my TV is in the john, which I guess is kind of nice...I don't even know anymore.
Don't live with your boyfriend before marriage.
Why act like you're married if you're not even married to begin with??
If this relationship ends, it'll hurt a hell of a lot more and you have to go through so much more... like feeling dependent on him because you've spent 24/7 with him and now he's gone, having to move out, etc.
It's only been 6 months. And you sound pretty young. Don't rush this!! You've got your whole life ahead of you. You've got the rest of your life to live with this guy. Wouldn't you want to enjoy the time that you have to yourself NOW while it lasts?
I have been friends with my boyfriend for over a year. And we have been together for almost another year. We both want to get married after college. We both also realize how big of a mistake it would be to move in together before we're married. It will complicate everything... just like sex.
Listen to your parents. They truly know best.
If you move in together before you're married, your boyfriend will ALWAYS have something in his head that says, "This is only temporary." Trust me... no matter what he tells you, he will STILL have that in his head.

If you two are serious about getting married then I think you should try living together. That way you can see what its like and it will help you decide whether or not you want to get married.

I hate to say it.. but live with him. You can learn ALOT, and what the little things are your willing to put up with, and not. I roomed with my bf for 1yr and 9 mo. and found out we were expecting, and we married after having two , then we had our third. Still going very strong. nothing has changed. have been together 8 years.
