I had a friend who used to always end up sleeping with her boss. I always told her this was a bad idea and I know she is a very attractive person, but really it is not a good idea. Every time she got a new job she always had a good review from her previous boss because they had been lovers. Really I do not care that this is the way she gets her jobs, but I think it was not good she claimed that all her bosses reviewed her work performance objectively. Once people start getting involved with co-workers and their bosses, the ability to be objective about work performance goes out the window. Plus, I always think it is fun to meet someone completly out of your realm of work because you can complain about your bad days at work and not have to worry about the ramifications. Anything you say to a boss or a co-worker your are romantically involved with may come back to haunt you later.

I have done this a couple of times and it is ok as long as you are careful. You need to make sure that your company doesn't have a policy against this first. The next thing is try to be discreet and this could actually be kind of fun. Before you get into a sexual relationship really know the person well so there is less of a chance for them to spread rumors if you should happen to break up.It could be kind of risky but a lot of people meet there future husbands and wives this way so it may be worth it. Good Luck!
