off....the distance is not extremly far i live in Moscow(russia) he is studying in Scotland....every day i get mails from him...he is telling me that he cant sleep without me and so on...
maybe without those letters it would be easier to forget him....

The answer is not to forget, but rather not forget but to accept that you cannot be together.
Is there anyhing you can do to solve your problem? if the answer is yes then do whatever it is. If no, then follow my advice. It is easier to accept than to forget, which is to attempt the impossible - how can you forget the one you love!
Acceptance is a necesity. Better sooner than later. And it does not negate Love but only means that it is true.
Time will tell.

i agree with c. everything happens for a reason!!!
i have just gone through this...
it is easier to get over a man when they are far (or in Puerto Rico, as in my case). so use this to your advantage. maybe even subconsciously. his inaccessibility is actually a great weapon, as well as a blessing in disguise.
what i did....
one night i prayed...that i could get enough strength to not "hurt" about it. the next morning i woke up and it was like magic.
even when/if you talk to them there is still that realization that they are gone (literally) a,d sooner or later you will find it "pointless" to talk to them

You should probably try to occupy your time with things that you enjoy. This should be a good distraction. If that doesn't work then start dating again but remember that you may fall for someone because you are on the rebound.

Take time for yourself, and try to find someone new. Does he love you too? What are the reasons behind being so far. Sometimes, if it was meant to be it will be.

You don't necessarily have to get laid by another man, but when you find another man you are interested in it'll take your mind away from him. Don't worry, you'll get over him...time heals all.
