Singles & Dating - 11 January 2007

Guys, I've been having this problem for a while now. Everytime I approach to talk someone or they approach me, I become flabbergasted. It doesn't matter if its a boy or girl, hot or ugly, I can't seem to think of anything funny or intelligent to say. My answer usually consists of "yes", "no","haha", and "thanks". I don't think I'm shy but I'm slowly losing confidence because I can't keep a conversation running. Anyone have any tips to help me resolve this issue?

Why do they ask you out when you're already taken and they know it! I've had guys ask me out now that I'm in a relationship than ever in my 'single' life!! Do they do it to spite you? Not that I care about them anyway I love my man but still..its annoying when they do that!

There's this guy who keeps hitting on me and he knows I'm in a serious relationgship. He calls me and asks me out to the point where my guy started to notice and get jealous. I told him when he asked me if there might be a chance with him, I told him bluntly no. Everytime I turn him down he apologizes and promises he wont bother me again but only days after that and he starts all over.

How do I make him just go away? Should I tell my guy?

Okay about my last question with the same answer. I am shy as it is. I mean Ive touch him... just not there. Lol. Like one time we were on the couch and I put my hands up the beack of his shirt and ran my rans down his abck. I touch him all the time but he never does it to me. And for the people telling to tell him... thats not going to happen. But for the people telling me to put his hands where I want them to be, I do but then keeps them their, but than the next time we makeout/kiss, they are back to my hips on laower back? How do I get him out of this shy state. Hes been like this for six months now and its starting to scare me cuase im starting to think he has no interest in me and hes just to scared to break up with me. What should I do?

Okay this is weird. Just about a week ago i got into a heated discussion with my gf, and we started arguing and stuff, then later that night after we had resolved the issue, she said that it was 'hot' and a 'turn on' when i was shouting at her. Lol, this is so weird! but i dont really see anything 'hot' about arguing!

I have been dating with emergency room doctor for 2 months. He always said that he doesn't have time to spend with me? I'm wondering that it's true? One time, he said that he wanted me to date with other guy because he doesn't know when he will have time to see me, but after that i met him once a week. How come?

I mean we've been dating for about six months now, and hes really sweet and everything. A girls dream guy but hes so shy. He will kiss me and all but when he does he always puts his hands on my hips or lower back. Its nothing else. All of his friends dont know why hes so shy about that kinda stuff cause when he is with his friends the always talk dirty. (But what what kind of guys dont?) I have a friend who's a girl. She's nice, pretty and a great girl. But she's just my friend. I want to date her but I'm hesitant because all of her other guy friends have asked her out. I think that guys professing their love or attraction to her, happens all of the time. I'm not really sure if she would appreciate it if I revealed my feelings. She might just see me as one of the rest. Well, we are good friends, and I think that it is because I treat her like a person, and not like a pretty face.

If she was attracted to me it would probably be because I never tried to ask her out. But if I did ask her out, I would be destroying the very thing that made her attracted to me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A very good friend of mine told me that he wanted to date me when he started to get to know me, but I went into a 3 month relationship at that time. As we got to know each other I started falling for him and told him. He then told me he was afraid of ruining the friendship and we kept being friends with occational making out. Last night he said he knows their won't ever be anything between us and that it can't work, because we are too much alike. I mean c'mon??? So I know where I stand now, but it just seems so unreal. Is this how most guys think or is he the exception? Please help. I need to know, because i still think if he has feelings for me which along the line he said a couple of times then how can a decision be based on likeness???

advices on this one:
Alright, I just met a girl recently and well, we barely talk - but we do talks. I just realized that I kinda like her but I am too afraid to let her know. I've been trying to get to know her but its seem like something is holding me back. I think what really hold me back is that she's White and I am Asian. I have a friend that i have known for 4 yrs, he has always tried to convince me to date him. I keep on refusing because i am engaged and i can't picture myself dating him. I don't understand why i keep on havign to repeat myself, but i don't want to lose him as a friend either. I did once kiss him, but that was it (it happened 2 yrs ago, and i was single, and i bit drunk!!!) and now he keeps on saying we had something special and i can't carry on having to tell him that i don't want to date him. Theres this girl I know that is leaving the country for school next semester and one of her friends is having a going away party at a local restaurant with a movie later in the night. Ive had previous relations with her. I was with my boyfriend for a year now. We met in September of 2005 back in Washington D.C for an internship program. We came back to California and had a long distance relationship up until four months ago. Now after living together we are calling it quits. A guy i like since 4 years ago, at one period of time kept coming and talking to me. in class he always pushed his chair right next to me although it was out of place and the teacher often scolded him..upon asking,he said he wanted to be close to me and said he liked me. But i said he must be joking cos i was too elated and didn't know how to respond. before we could say anything else, my friend came and asked me something so he smiled and walked away..
we had our share of laughter and a year ago we quarelled badly. (after he told me he liked me) (no 3rd party, just a bad arguement) for a year, it had been kinda awkward talking normally to him..soon after the quarrel, he began mixing with some flirtatious girl who always hung out with him..i could not approach him and could only watch him change slowly. but in a year, they separated and now he is my good friend again. but til now, though i stil like him, he seems to like someone else. Should i tell him my true feelings?
