I have a friend who's a girl. She's nice, pretty and a great girl. But she's just my friend. I want to date her but I'm hesitant because all of her other guy friends have asked her out. I think that guys professing their love or attraction to her, happens all of the time. I'm not really sure if she would appreciate it if I revealed my feelings. She might just see me as one of the rest. Well, we are good friends, and I think that it is because I treat her like a person, and not like a pretty face.
If she was attracted to me it would probably be because I never tried to ask her out. But if I did ask her out, I would be destroying the very thing that made her attracted to me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Make a joke about it sometime soon and check her reaction to it...
You know, when you finally wise up and start dating me, blah blah blah.....
Do this with a smile on your face, so you can pass it off easily if it freaks her out...

I am the same type as your girlfriend. All my guy friends always ended up having a crush on me. After one told me that they had feelings and I didn't respond but they never brough it up again or crossed over that line I was fine and the friendship was never affected. But the ones that just kept on bugging me about it or crossed the line of friendship or constantly flirted with me are the ones that I never talk to anymore. My advice is go ahead and ask her if she would ever consider you more than a friend. If she says no then keep t at that and start looking for another girl because it will ruin your friendship if you don't.GoodLuck.

Just hang out with her a bit more. Don't profess your love to her, just hang out and be there for her.
If there is ever an appropriate moment, maybe try holding her hand.
Does she ever hug you? Do you link your arms at the elbow when you walk just you two?
Just hang out a lot, and as you get closer, try flirting one day and see if she flirts back. Don't tell her how you feel. Show her. That will make you different to all the others and she won't just dismiss you.

The best thing you can do is wait . See how she acts around you...if she likes you she'd show it somehow...watch out for signs...if you thinks she likes you,you could offer her to go watch a movie togethre ,then later try a resaurant and maybe a valentines card...(A friendship one os okay too) would do...if she doesn't understand how u feel by then...try showing her that by say giving her small presents (Not Red roses though ...if you want to get her flowers stay away from roses for now) then if she tdill doesn't like you tell her how you feel...but explain that it's not for her looks but character .

if the only thing she's attracted to you is you never ask her out. then it's not a friendship and let along she may like you. you can hint and imply or ask her how she feels when guy friends ask her out and turned to be interested in her. but sometimes, u end up risking the friendship. tough decision..but good luck!

I think she probably likes you. I like some of the other answers. I think you do risk the friendship. She might consider you being like all the others. Like the other answer, you might want to ask her what she thinks when the other guys, friends, asked her out. Try to ask her when she is by herself. Good Luck.
