Theres this girl I know that is leaving the country for school next semester and one of her friends is having a going away party at a local restaurant with a movie later in the night. Ive had previous relations with her. We have not talked for a while either. the thing thats bothering me is that she called me earlier this week about nothing and in our conversation on the phone I felt that she might have feelings still for me. Im begining to feel like she wants me again and im beging to feel the same way for her. I have an oppertunity to express my feelings to her next week at the going away party but do you think i should do it?

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder."
Is it that she's leaving that you have had these feelings stirring up? If she were still hanging around next semester... not going anywhere would you still have these feelings? Maybe just the prospect of losing her entirely, maybe forever, that you just realized you really did have something hidden in your heart. Considering its already a 'going away party' maybe its not the best time in the world to spring this on her. Maybe you need to talk before the party. Then if she has these feelings too, you can make arrangements to commuicate after she is gone.

Girls sometimes pretend like it doesn't matter to them and I think this is what happened when you two didn't talk for a while. I think she cares for you, otherwise she wouldn't just phone you and talked about "nothing". I think it's just a way to show that she cares but doesn't want to give in and let you know how she really feels. So I think you should express your feelings to her. If you don't do it, you'll have to sit/wonder/regret for a long time. If you don't tell her you won't : know what she really feels/come up with your own assumptions/left to wonder what could have been.

Good luck!

I think you should. I mean it might bother her that you waited to late, but she will glad to know. I mean hey it's never to late for love and everyone deserves a fighting chance. Well that doesn't mean stop her dreams for your wants, so if you still care and she do to make it work for the best of both y'all. Plus, if she doesn't feel the same way you get every heart broken person's wishes that the person who heart them disappear. This will make it easy for you to recover. So good luck with your choice!

depending on how you two handle a long distance relationship. it can work but it's difficult. you can try telling her how you feel but there's no guarantee she will return your response. or you can reserve your feeling and just keep her as a friend and go visit her from time to time to see whether this friendship develops to the next level. good luck!

It never hurts to try, just keep in mind that "feelings" come in many forms. Don't get your hopes so high that you go hopping up to her doorstep and poor out your heart to her so much, and then find out that she just wanted to be friends. Test the water before you jump in.
