How often is normal?

2007-01-02 13:17:36 · 9 answers · asked by NIGHTSHADE 4

I have been divorced for a few years now. I have dated about a half dozen times without anything serious panning out. I am in some ways getting use to being single, but it's also lonely and I am getting a crush on my female platonic friend, so for her sake I need to get out there. How can I date someone without appearing desperate or pathetic?

There is a guy at my school who yells out Amazon anytime he sees me (my profile), and then starts cracking up.

I don't know what that means. My BF said she thought Amazon meant a tall, burly girl....I am shory and rather proportionate.

What does it mean? Again, he only says it when he looks at my profile.

okay... so I know that girls tend to 'run away' from nice guys. Do guys also 'run away' from nice girls, in general? Does a 'nice girl' shout "commitment" and make a guy feel suffocated? It's really better than to be the indifferent guy/girl, huh?

ok so i have this girl that i like. She is really sweet and i think we would make a good couple. Unfortunately, she plays games and makes me feel horrible but i know deep down she is just insecure or unwilling to open up.
the thing that complicates this is that there is another girl who i have no romantic feelings for but i have better chances on being with her sexually.
Is it better to pursue the girl that is playing games, or settle for the other girl that is more willing to open up? (no pun intended)

sex position for women to get off?

when people try to define the word "hot" the end up describing a hooker-type girl or cocky wanna-be-player, but when they define beautiful they describe what really matters... beauty on the inside...not just what you can see. So, really, is it better to try to be as skinny as possible, and wear as much make-up as you can, and diet and get plastic sugery or bo-tox...or just be yourself? I asked a guy to define the words beautiful and hot and here is what he said: BEAUTIFUL Indescribably pleasing, but not necessarily sexually attractive. Unconventional beauty is something that you don't know what it is, but you think that person is wonderful. HOT A Female who is really pretty/gorgeous; Has A Nice Body. U'd Tap Thier "butt" Any Second So, is being hot only based on your body, looks , and your "features"??? Is this really how guys think about girls???? or how girls think about guys?? Respond what you think about this and if you do it.

I've been dating this girl for five months. I have done so much for her, because I'm head over heels. I spend entire weekends at her place. Cook for her. Take her out. We sleep in the same bed. Naked. We kiss. A lot. We haven't had sex yet. I'm ready, she's not. She tells me she loves me. The first time I told her, she cried. She tells me she's confused, but says I'm perfect. Tells me that the girl who wins my heart will be the luckiest girl on earth, but that the thought of me in someone else's arms makes her physically sick. I want to move this forward, be with her, but this is too hard! Should I really be chasing after someone who has to think this hard about being with me? And no, neither one of us are in our teens.

I don't want the drama and stress. It is a bunch of crap, and I'm surprised so many people want that drama. I want to avoid it, and not get a girlfriend. I am not depressed, and I can live alone. I am happy to be alone, but people are always telling me I should get a girlfriend. I don't really like kids, and I don't need a family to keep me happy. Plus the fact that I have occasional anger outbursts and I like to drink. I have an anxiety about asking girls out, and I never have, but I figured out that I should just avoid my anxiety, and I will never ask a girl out. It isn't worth me getting stressed out and getting rejected, as I probably would. If a girl likes me, then too bad. She can find someone else. I don't really need love, and I am a very happy person; ask my friends. So why do I really need a girl?

My sister and her boyfriend are both 28. They have dated for a year and a half. They live together. She tells me they are rarely intimate, she says she has tried everything and nothing has worked. He says he is not cheating, that nothing is wrong and that he loves her. I say she needs to move on. She says he is a good person and it's basically only intimacy lacking. What is the deal with this situation?

i just ended a 5 yr relationship with my bf.when i first met "tom" at work he use to drive in with this blond "val".he told me they were just old friends.later after we had been dating for about 3 weeks(and after we had sex)he told me they were dating and if i did not like it i could leave.i later found out from his sister he left his wife for this girl.did i leave,no i stayed hoping i could win him over.i watched as he sent her flowers at work, heard about the jewelry he gave her,the expensive diners ect.all i every got was invites over for sex and a movie.after 5 mons he left her(not because of me he told me he could not keep her happy) but over the last 5 yrs i have caught he sneaking around on the internet/phone with her and would tell me i was over reacting, with their history i think not.has he cheated, more than likely.now on top of all this add a controlling in your face exwife with a kid and a huge debt and i STILL STAYED.love is not blind its dumb.oh yes we were all in our 30s

Im 20 Years Old.. I met this guy and we've been together for 6 Months Now.
He's 23 years old.
We've had our arguments and misunderstandings (just like every couple does)...
But, overall, he's an amazing guy.
He's not just said but shown that he loves, cares, and treasures me.
The Only Problem is that this is his first "real job".
And he takes this job really seriously. It's actually a good thing, because it show's that he's responsible...
But his work really stresses him out to the point that it messes up our relationship.
Sometimes He comes home really moody.
Some nights he really doesnt wanna talk on the phone because he's too tired,
or because he has his family issues (his mom and dad divorced)...
And Ive shown him alot of support on my side, but...i realized that..
He mixes His work Into his personal life too much.
I really Dont Know what to do?....
I only see him once or twice a week.
He really doesnt have a schedule.
I dont know what to do :(
