There is a guy at my school who yells out Amazon anytime he sees me (my profile), and then starts cracking up.
I don't know what that means. My BF said she thought Amazon meant a tall, burly girl....I am shory and rather proportionate.
What does it mean? Again, he only says it when he looks at my profile.

Amazon, is usually a descriptive word for a very tall person.
So, not sure why he would be yelling that at you. Maybe he is confused about what it means? Obviously, he is immature. Just ignore him.

sometimes guys say the strangest things! and I had to answer you when I saw that he calls you amazon, because it sounds so familiar!
my cousin's husband has always called me that, and he means no harm what-so-ever! I know how you're feeling because it sounds like a insult. at least that's what I thought until I was told differently.
he was calling me amazon, and I'm only 5 feet 6 inches tall! and was about 105 pounds! but my cousin on the other hand is barely 5 feet tall! so, to him, I look tall, and therefore he calls me the amazon. and he's also said that he thinks I look like a model.
so don't take being called amazon as a bad thing! and if you want to have a little fun getting back at him, start calling him wee man, he won't know what to think about that any more that you know what to make of him calling you amazon! just keep things light and have fun. he's probably just playing around, and he may have a crush on you. you never know!

Amazon means you're wild. Ask yourself a question...What's on your profile that could make him think that? Amazon may also mean you're hot...but if he laughs I guess that's not the case. Also one more option...If you shun guys and don't date a lot and are hard to get to...or possibly give yourself away as a lesbian that may also be it. Don't worry...just check your profile and see what it could be. :-)

Maybe he's a nut who can't read....(actually Amazons weren't all that big, but they had a habit of cutting off a breast to make sure their quivers would fit their bodies.) If you run around with only one breast and a quiver full of arrows slung on your body, then I'd say he was right....otherwise he seems to be an idiot...

well your boyrfriend (or best friend, which ever one is BF) was right. But amazon also means "hairy" so i would watch out. But lets not be so negative. maybe he was astounded by your beauty and he was trying to say "amazin". ya never know.
