I don't want the drama and stress. It is a bunch of crap, and I'm surprised so many people want that drama. I want to avoid it, and not get a girlfriend. I am not depressed, and I can live alone. I am happy to be alone, but people are always telling me I should get a girlfriend. I don't really like kids, and I don't need a family to keep me happy. Plus the fact that I have occasional anger outbursts and I like to drink. I have an anxiety about asking girls out, and I never have, but I figured out that I should just avoid my anxiety, and I will never ask a girl out. It isn't worth me getting stressed out and getting rejected, as I probably would. If a girl likes me, then too bad. She can find someone else. I don't really need love, and I am a very happy person; ask my friends. So why do I really need a girl?

I think your friends just dont want to spend the rest of your life by yourself they want you to find a great woman for you to enjoy life with. But if you dont want a woman and you clearly stated you are happy w/o one then live your life the way you have been. I mean if this is the lifestyle you want to live then you are right not to get other people involved especially if you end up getting her pregnant and dont even like kids. When you decide you want to be w/someone then only you will know when that time is.

You shouldn't find love. It should come to you naturally. But reading that yoyu don't want a girlfriend or have kids, that's perfectly fine. Why would you need a girlfriend if you are happy to live your life without one. And then you can live your life how you want to and avoid the drama cuz a girlfriend won't want you to drink, or party, or whatever you like to do. So you are right. If you don't want a girl, don't go through the hassle.

Well look some people just aren't meant for that kinda thing....Hey you gotta do whats best for you....If you think that you are totally happy without all that girlfriend and love type thing then by gosh keep on doing you....But don't knock until you try it... It may be fun who knows but, if you can't positively deal with it then don't. Screw what everyone else think they don't have to put up with the strain, you do just keep on being you and keep it pushin its 2007

You don't nessasarily need a girl. If you're happy to be alone it's fine. However love is not about drama. Love is about caring about a person...you don't need a girl if you don't love her. However sometimes love comes in the most unexpected ways. Right now you don't have love for anyone so you don't think you need it but if it does come for you you won't mind it so much.

There is no law or rule, written or un, that says "thou shalt date". If it's not for you, don't do it. Many people don't date, for various reasons.

But if you ever DO decide to date, don't go trying to find love...those that actively seek it out tend to be the ones who make the more poor relationship choices...

Do what makes you happy, because you are the only one you have to answer to (in this regard).

You don't! If your happy with yourself then why complicate things. On the other hand jacking off can get boring. I am bi so I can have a buddy to go fishing with and at night when we crash in the tent we make our own fun. If you know what I mean. And no you don't have to be gay to have fun with another guy.

Because when you truely find love, it's the best feeling in the world. Sure you stumble here and there trying to find the right person, but in time true love will find you. Nothing that's worth anything comes easy.

has anyone been telling you you should find love ? So long as you are self-dependent and feel happy enough on your own, you don't have to go round looking for it. But it may look for you some time, and if you fall for it, I'm sure you will not regret it, eventually.

You answered your own question. If you don't need someone to love you then why go out of your way looking for it. Thats like buying a transmisson for your car when there nothing wrong with it in the first place.

You've just outlined why you don't. I can't think of any reason why you'd want to give up your independence for someone else. Just ignore them and enjoy yourself. You get the Rio Madeira Seal of Approval!
