Singles & Dating - 21 December 2006

He was rotten and abusive. He's a coworker of my parents' though and they say he's changed. Should I be friends with him? He asked me to just be friends because he doesn't want to lose me that way too. I know it's something I should figure out myself. Just looking for a few tossed out ideas. He hurt me badly but he had issues with himself and he's supposedly not like that now. I hate to see someone hurt and I don't like to make anyone feel badly. What do you think?

That my date shows up!!!! When they show up, on time, with flowers, and have already chosen a suitable resturant for dinner, and also something fun for us to to afterwards. So long as he is well dressed, well manicured, and smells great, we're off to a good start. Also must be smarter & more motivated than a pet rock.

and hugged me. Any chance this means he loves me as more than a friend? The grabbing and hugging part is what I thought was a sign. If he had just answered me with words, I would have just thought we were playing. But he felt he had to touch me to show me...I am asking...

Ok, I'm a 20 yr old guy. I feel so depressed and lonley these days espeically with xmas and the new yrs eve coming. every1 around me seems to be spending time wif their gf/bf, going away with friends, going on holidays etc etc..wheras i'm just always just stuck at home ..; S I've always had these kinda feelings but not so strognly as this yr~..Yes i know ..I always try to meet new ppl and open up to them, and help them and just be their good friends..but i never seem to be able to get someone who trully loves me...
I'm not showing off or anythig, but i've heard lots of comments from ppl saying that i'm good-looking and that i'm nice..so dn't think there' anything that i'm doing wrong to others..
But why isn't anything happening for me? why am i always feelings down ?? is it just matter of waiting? am i destined never to b happy? i've waited and waited but i just can't seem to be able to take it anymore.. ; S

k i never thought i would ever feel this way towards a girl before! but i have a problem! k i love this girl( i think)! but she goes out w/ this other guy! but everthing they do together she always invites me to go w/ them where ever they r goin! do u think shes tryin to get him to break up with her that way she can go out w/ me or just being overly nice to me! and if thats so do u think i should just give up and go on about it or hang around! I mean we bought xmas presents for each other that her b/f didn't even know she bout me until the other day but she acts like she loves him but she always wants me to hang around! so wat my question is the next time she ask me to go somewhere should i say no or go w/ the flow! i mean i got really deep feelings i thought i would never have! I'm a really really shy person when it comes to talking to girls. Im 26 and cant seem to get a girlfriend. I just dont know what to say when I see an attractive woman. We had been dating for about two months. There was an incredible physical attraction and the sex was phenomenal. I was also falling in love with him.
