Singles & Dating - 21 December 2006

I liked a girl for long time and she seemed to reciprocate the feelings but when I tried to start a conversation, she refused to even talk to me. Initially I was trying to forget her as jerk as her response was not polite. But now I came to know that she is having a secret affair with someone from my office for sometime and they are about to marry. I am not sure when this started.

It has really made me too sad. I think of her all the time and feel depressed when I think that she loves someone else. Had I got any hint, I'd have not gone ahead.

What do I do? How do I overcome this. Can you help?

does that mean she will like it more as a surprise.
am i approaching women the right.
i'm trying to do things my own way, by being confident
giving them space, when they need it
listening to them more, when they want attention
accepting it, when i'm not needed
being there for them, when i'm wanted

how could i improve my confidence, i like my attitude. i can sometimes be passionate, is this a good thing. i want to really combine this passion, with a little attentiveness. how do women like to be approach. does it help, if you let them start the conversation, i've been told that some relationship work that way, but you do need a little give and take

so im pretty much inluv with this guy fom my old skool! His name is Josh, we where Pretty Good Friends For About a Year.
It Was In grade 8 When I Started Chillin With him. He Was Such A Sweetie He would Always Be There For me when I Had A Bad Day.
He Was The First To Make Me Smile & We Got Along Great! Than He Started Flirting With Me, He Would Chill wit Me At Skool On Our Breaks,
He would Get Totaly Jelouse When I Like Other Guys..It Was Pretty Sweet.Than In The Middle Of The Skool Year He Told Me He Liked Me.
Even Though We Never Dated I Still Really Miss Him & Like Him. & Than The Last ay Of Skool He Asked me For A Hug, But I Was Stupid & I
Just Walked Away & Said Bye..My Friend Who Was With Him Said That He Was Pretty Upset Since He Liked Me So Much.
It Didn`t Hit Me For Couple Months That He Was Such A Great Person & He Actually Cared About Me, Than We Hung Out Once Or Twice
Before Skool Started. He Was Pretty Shy & It Seemed Like He Was Still Into Me..Anyways Than he Whent To A New School and Met New People
So We Stopped Hanning Out Together. But We Stil Keep In Touch. A Few Months Ago He old me He Liked Me Again But He Wasn`t Gonna Date Me
Because He Liked Someone Else..But We Where Still Good Friends and he would still flirt with me! And Now It`s Like Hes a Totaly Different Person.
He`s Calling Me all These Rude Names & When I Tell Him I Like Him Hes Like Ohh Cool...Or Somtimes He`ll just say cool idc.
In A Way I Still Think he Likes Me (Even When He Is A Little Bit Rude) But I Dunno...I Think He Likes me cuz it was only a year ago tht he liked me.

could it be a possible sign, that she may be interested, but want me to get a job first, before we start ######. i've known this girl for 2 years, we've been friends mostly, but she does have a very positive attitude towards me. only problem is! she has social barriers, she can be high maintenance, spend alot of money, thinks she's god's gift to men, flirts alot, can be bitchy, when she doesn't want company, always put's her job over everything else.

I thought I was getting over him and moving on than last night I had a dream about him. . .I'm getting really tired of this whole deal. How do I get over him? I never see him and we haven't exchanged more than a few emails since we broke up. I'm even dating again and I still cannot stop thinking about him. What am I doing wrong here?

Me and my bf just broke up last week and i miss him terribily. I keep thinking that he is the one for me and is even prepared to marry him. =(
We broke up as we thought that since we are only 19, we should have more space and freedom. I really want to know what are our chances of getting back together even in the far far future. Cuz i really want him back. i noe its immature to think this way but i just want to think this way. I can't help it. What should i do? He told me that he still likes me and i can feel it too. He told me he could never be angry at me I treated him really bad and we are friends but not close. I haven't seen him in 5 years. I blocked him from my blog and IM and he still added me back and when he heard that my BF hit me he asked my other friend why did my BF do that..do you really think he is a good friend or what...I made it a mess by telling him I could never love him then I did and now I don't I was scared and confused but he always was so nice to me..I don't understand why...I was really mean to him.

He’s in my science class as a seat partner, and I’m really unsure whether or not he likes me. First, we didn't really talk much, but because he and I have a need to talk, we eventually warmed up to each other. The first compliment he gave me was that he liked my hair up in a ponytail, and I just froze, had nothing else to say, but thank you. Next, on the day before Thanksgiving break, the teacher told everyone to tell the ones they loved, "I'm thankful for you," and that's exactly what he told me. Then, I, being an idiot who cannot control her facial expressions, made an ugly face at it. But right there I knew for sure he liked me, so I wanted to wait until after the break to be clear. Then I found out that that week he went out with a girl, therefore I thought he didn't like me anymore. It only lasted for a week, but I was still confused, so I didn’t talk to him that often.
He still looks at me, and tries to make me laugh.
Is this what boys do? Does he like me?

A man decided to sponsor me for college expenses, after hearing a public speech from me. He said he wanted to give me $1,000 for the next 4 yrs. He gave me the first $1,000 a year and half ago, and have not spoken to him since. I am very grateful and in need of money. Should I contact him and "ask" for the money. I had a few gf's who said go on out with your friends have fun when one would call. Mind you it wasn't all the time. I wasn't cancelling any plans and would invite them to go. Then when I came home they would be total bitc#s. Are they bored and need drama? Are they just trying to pick a fight for the make up loving? This was a few years ago I learned from it minute they start to nag kick them to the curb!
