First relax...
Why did u treat him so bad when he was nice to you? Ask yourself, cos you can't be bad to someone for no reason, unless you are crazy.
I think he is a nice guy to care about you after what you've done (although I don't exactly know what you did...)
And he is nice to care about you after not having heard from you in 5yrs... thats quite a long time...
And if my BF ever hit me, I'd hit him back and dump him.
But if you do happen to get in touch with him again, then don't rush into a relationship with him cos you are very vulnerable at the moment, and thats not the state of mind you need to be in to make serious decisions...
And ya to be more precise, he is a good guy.

It's natural for women to treat nice guys like crap. Your kind of behavior prompts men to treat women like crap, even if they are nice guys because that's what women want. Women will do anything to please a guy who treats them like crap. That's why you're with your boyfriend.
Your other friend is a stalker. Tell him to not be involved in your life. Don't say stupid sh*it like "Let's just be friends." because that will only make him want to be closer to you. Be direct. Tell him "I don't ever want to see you or hear from you again. If I do, I will get a restraining order." He is not a good friend. He does not take into account your feelings when he is doing all of these things around you. Be direct. Don't be wishy washy and give him ambiguous messages because that will only encourage him.

As the saying goes "the nice guy always finishes last"
It's really up to you to sort what this bloke adds to your life
if anything, there is also an old adage "good friends are hard to come by" Wouldn't hurt to keep that in mind!.

You should avoid being cruel to people who genuinely like and care about you as an individual. What you can do now is try and apologize to this guy and ask for his forgiveness. Don't try to jump in a relationship with him, if you have plans to hurt him by being selfish.

He cares for you and he is a good friend! So, stop being mean to him...he knows that you do not like him in "that way"! You need to stop putting all this pressure on yourself about him....there is none! Just be nice!!!

You must be confused. Love is confusing. I can relate. It doesn't get easier. Ever.
