A man decided to sponsor me for college expenses, after hearing a public speech from me. He said he wanted to give me $1,000 for the next 4 yrs. He gave me the first $1,000 a year and half ago, and have not spoken to him since. I am very grateful and in need of money. Should I contact him and "ask" for the money. Should he be the one contacting me. Thanks!

It's been 1.5 years since I have spoken to him, and I am very regretful for that. I guess I should just act and send him a christmas card. Maybe he will remember me. But isn't it rude to just appear out of no where? He feel as if I failed to contact him earlier, and regularly. Is it too late to start now?

Sorry I meant to say that I feel as if I failed to contact him earlier. ANd it is my fault and should just forget about it, but I really do need the money for books and such.

I don't know if you deserve it, but he should not have promised it if he couldn't deliver. Maybe you should mention it to him. Sometimes people just lose track of things.

Just let me give you the money, that is so sexy woman using thier charms to drain men of thier assets, pick me pick me...no you dont deserve the money you should have at least sent your report card. why are present day women so shallow. Why would you even use the word deserve, your question should have said "Even though this guy gave me a grand and i was just using him for finances should i have the gull to go ask him for another grand" and i would answer hell yes!!! Beautiful women deserve all our money.

as long as the money is going to your college and notparty hardy every night (not that you do) call him but keep in touch send him photos, copies of your test scores from your hardest subjects, you know a progress report so he knows his money is not being squandered away, your class pictures, ( as long as your comfortable that he's not a pervert trying to be your sugar daddy)
call him on it he made the promise to you.

and you better not charge him for an office visit when you become that doc.

you should contact him and fairly often- a letter a month. Be careful you come across as spoilt and ill-mannered
