Singles & Dating - 20 December 2006

I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months and he works 2 jobs so I don't see him during the week, only on the weekends cause he gets home from his second job around 8-9 pm. He usually calls me after he gets home. I also call him too. This has been the routine for the whole 5 months. Well, last night he did not call me and I am feeling insecure about that. I did not call him either cause I called him the night before. I really wanted him to initiate the call but he didn't and now I am all bent outta shape. I know I am insecure and overreacting but he has never really given me a reason to feel this way. I guess I just need someone to reassure me that I am really overreacting. Am I?

I've been with my partner for 6 years now we have 2 kids we lived together before but we broke up and now I'm living by myself and he's still living at home. I've heard rumors that he's cheated on me before while we were together and I kinda had a feeling that he has and every time I bring it up he's says I'm crazy or that I need help. I've tried breaking up with him but he always comes back and says how we've been together for so long ect. ect......... I'm not even sure if I'm in love with him or if it's just that I'm used to him. What should I do please help ? I need advice!

P.S. I forgot to mention we got back together after we broke up.
But he keeps pushing off moving in together again we've been living apart for 2 years now. Oh and he always mentions how nobody is ever gonna wanna be with someone who has 2 kids.

I met a guy who lives in another state and whenever he's in town he calls/text me all the time and will stay at my place. I really like him but i don't know how he feels about me. We talk about a lot and get along great. I think that i gave him the wrong impression when i sort of made sex an issue and told him that i was mad that he did not "try me" when he stayed at my place one night even though we have had sex before. I don't want him to think that all i want from him is sex,but maybe that's all he wants from me? I did not purchase a gift for my mom's boyfriend this year...or any year in the past for that matter. I did not know I was expected to. Actually I don't really care for him anyways so I choose not to buy him a gift this year. She called me angry because she felt I was excluding him. I explained to her that money was tight this year and NOT everyone recieved a gift from us this year. I thought it was very rude that she would call and complain about not getting a gift. I should choose who I give to and not feel obligated to get him something just because he's dating her. Is there some kind of rule on who you should have to buy a gift for? When it gets right down to it...she's upset that I don't accept and embrace her boyfriend. As I said I don't really care for him. She is trying to force me to accept him by guilt tripping me into buying him a gift. Saying he bought me something. So how should I respond to her being upset that I did not purchase a gift for him?.
