The best thing is that in a truly intimate relationship your partner gets to know the real, deep-down you, and he/she loves you and all your little pimples and quirks.
If someone can love you for the real you, and not for the "you" that you present to the public daily, it is the most comforting, satisfying feeling in the world.

The best thing about two people being together that truly love each other is know that it is forever. To know you are not just being used. I wish things could just be like they were in the old days. Girls waited until marriage and when people got married they stayed married. People didn't walk out on their kids and their kids didn't give them a reason to walk out. There is nothing better than knowing you are with someone that is going to be there no matter what.

Not only do you have a lover and a partner, but you also have a friend. If you love that person and they love you back, you two will both have someone who is there for you in more than just sex. True love is much more than having sex, it's having someone to give you the things that you really need. Like, confidence and self esteem.

The intimacy, and when you combine it with true love, you just can't go wrong. Everytime you look in each other's eyes it is just love. Everything you do is based on how much you love each other. Me and my boyfriend based our relationship on I Corinthians 13. Love is patient, kind, it doesn't envy or boast. Love keeps no record of wrongs. Love covers a multitude of sins. With love nothing can go wrong because God IS love.

There is a multitude of things that make it good: the trust, honesty, security, sense of being loved, sense of knowing someone is there for you, etc. etc. Not just one thing makes it the best, but its a bunch of things grouped together that make it the best.
