I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months and he works 2 jobs so I don't see him during the week, only on the weekends cause he gets home from his second job around 8-9 pm. He usually calls me after he gets home. I also call him too. This has been the routine for the whole 5 months. Well, last night he did not call me and I am feeling insecure about that. I did not call him either cause I called him the night before. I really wanted him to initiate the call but he didn't and now I am all bent outta shape. I know I am insecure and overreacting but he has never really given me a reason to feel this way. I guess I just need someone to reassure me that I am really overreacting. Am I?

Yes, you are overreacting. He could have been tired, sick, etc. which could explain the reason he did not call. Just relax, I am sure that he will call today and everything will be good as new.

You sound too immature to have a boyfriend. Are you serious? You're not really asking the general public if you're overreacting, are you? How many of us do you think is going to tell you no? Grow up and stop accusing that man of doing things that he's not just because he's trying to make a living. How about he quit his jobs and you support him so then you won't have to be insecure. Better yet how about you let him go so he can find someone that will appreciate the fact that he's not a loser living off of his girl.

You are over-reacting. Take a chill. One phone call is not indicative of anything - the guy is working hard and was probably tired. Maybe he fell asleep. Those are high expectations you have on him, too. It is ok to be apart and not talk to each other for a day or two - no problem! Enjoy him when you can...keep in touch...and be sure to give him the freedom he needs; we all need. Be thankful you have a good guy who likes you and works hard.

I really wouldn't worry about it you said he has NEVER given you a reason to queston if hes working two jobs he may have just been tired or something. You know but just call him tonight if he doesn't call you by whatever yalls normal time to talk is and see if he is acting normal and if not just say " whats up?" and go from there.

No, it is normal to wonder..maybe he was overly tired...or just had something to do..being together for 5 months you are prolly clse enough to ask him if why he didnt..well dont accuse him ask in a way like.." so what did u do last night"..If it keeps happening then i would begin to think he is losing interest but since its a one night thing then he prolly has a reason..dont give in to him and call him every night either..its not good for only one person to be putting in the relationship..if it keeps happening just ask..what cnat it hurt..just dont act mad but like curious

Yes, your overreacting. He must have had a reason not to call you. He might have also been waiting for you to call him.
You also need to learn that sometimes, it's just not possible to talk to someone everyday. If you overreact like this everytime, your going to be one big mess.

i would be bent outta shape cuz i dated this guy for 1 yr and we basically had the same routine but i also got to see him during the week cuz he only had one job and i also got to see him during the week too! but one day he didn;t come over and he didn't call me so i drive to his house to surprise him and i find my best friend in bed w/him so ya i would be flippin out if i was you!!

My boyfriend never calls me. I generally have to call him. Just the way it is. I think you are over-reacting. Just call him and see what is going on. Tell him you missed his call last night. See what he tells you. Good luck!
