The reason for this is your missing the attention he bestowed on you... when your in love you know, you get this feeling. Like butterflies in your tummy, they are the last person you think of and the first thought of the day and also when ever they mention their name it brings a smile to your face and a warm feeing. And when they die... its a whole different ball game when someone says their name your stomach does flips and you feel sick... you cant breath, you cant walk, talk or want to be around anyone. You want to be alone in your thoughts and hope that it is all a big mistake.

I hope this helps a little. Death can bring lots of different emotions for people. Majority of it is guilt.

Well maybe u love him now because u feel guilty about how u treated him and behaved wen he was alive so u chanell all those feelings now and u think u love him.I dont know how u can fall inlove with a dead person but i think ur in a dream and u need to wake up and move on as soon as possible

im not trying to be mean but it sounds like when he was alive you didnt give him the chance that you needed to and a death is a hard thing to live with

You are in love with his memory and 'what could have been'. You're bound to grieve for him, but in time your feelings will become a fond memory and you will be able to move on.
