I am a 22 year old woman, and height is important to me. I won't date a guy shorter than me. He has to be the same height or taller. However, I don't want him to be too tall, because I am only 5 feet tall.

Physical attraction is somewhat important in all relationships, it does not always mean the woman is shallow.
For me, I prefer to date guys that are taller than me (I think many girls feel that way) but I have dated guys that are shorter than me. Lots of short guys are really attractive. The problem is, that I am too tall (almost 6feet) sooo just go out and find you a shorty girl. There are plenty of them around :)

I hate being superficial, but YES it really is.
A guy who is a little shorter is fine, but when you have to reach for the cereal for him, it just doesn't work.
You could be a brain surgeon astronaut Olympic gold medalist, and 99% of the women out there will want you to be at least within 3 inches of their height.

My son is the same size. He's muscular and cute and women find him, so what's the problem? My husband is 5'7" and I'm 5'4", so we made a cool little man. There are lots of cute petite gals out there- go get em! I personally couldn't ever date a super tall person because I'm smaller so it swings all directions!

Depends on the woman. I am 5'8" and am currently dating a man who is 5'6". I'd prefer a taller man, but it's not the end of the world. Some women I know, though, refuse to date someone shorter than them.

Yes it is. For a lot of women it's absolutely hot to be a petite man. Take up snowboarding or skateboarding and wear really hot skater-boy/snowboarder clothes. nothing is cuter than a michael j fox look a like for some women. A lot of short men also have huge knobs.

Well it depends on the girl! I personally like someone to be taller than me or the same height as me. I'm 5'7!! So it depends on the girl. Their's nothing wrong with short guys

I tend to think that it does. A man's height is one of the first things that attracts me to him. He mustn't be too short or rather shorter than me and not way too tall either.

from my personal experience, it only bothers me when it bothers the man. if it bothers the man so much, i wouldn't want to waste my time on him, from my past experience. im 5 8 and attract men that are the same or a few inches shorter than i am.

I would be in trouble if a guy was shorter than me cuz I am 5 ft tall! Otherwise I guess it doesn't matter one bit!
