I was in a long relationship for 6 years. Things between us started falling apart 1 year prior. He ended up moving and we tried to continue the relationship, but with no sucess. we remain friends, but it is hard. I thought that our love was stronger then this and boy was I wrong. How do you move on and find love or happiness again?

We finally met in person after talking on the phone for several months.

We made out in my car on our first "date". He told me that I am hot, but it sounded like he was hesitatiing to say it.

Also, he said in a joking manner - you're so beautiful - (laugh, laugh)

Also, he never complimented me on anything except, "nice boots". Yes, nice boots was my compliment - not "nice outfit", "you look nice", "you have pretty eyes." - nothing.

I even told him that he was very handsome and reminded me of Tom Cruise - he didn't return any compliments.

Arrrgh. I just can't tell if he's attracted to me - especially when he jokes about me being "hot" after a long makeout (am I hot, or my kisses, you know?)....and then hesitates when he calls me beautiful - and then laughs.

How does a grown man show someone that he is attracted to her?

My financee is in Iraq, working with a Army sub-contractor. He asked me to join him in Germany on his R&R. I told him I couldn't just landed this great job, but to have fun. He lied and met up with a girl he was sending flowers to in Australia. I found out this is the second time, he lied about his R&R and seen her. I know he was sending flowers, but they never said I LOVE YOU, like all my flowers that he sent. I know this for a fact because I investigated the floral recorders. When I caught him in his lies, he cried and said he'd do whatever it would take to build my trust and he loved me. I love him, but am very hurt. Intially I called off the engagement. I have been faithful to him and had several guys hitting on me. He comes back in March. Can he ever be trusted? Should I go ahead and go through the pain now and end it? Help

Ok. I'm 18 and a senior in high school. She's a senior as well so thats where it starts. We don't know each other. We see each other once every few days in the school's farthest parking lot. She is really shy. She doesn't start conversations (I've noticed) While waiting for a ride every so often at school, she'll walk by really slow, look around (she waits for a ride too) and she'll linger for a little bit and then wait somewhere else. I notice she'll smile at me when I'm on my phone and she's walking away. I want to ask her out but I have no knowledge about her; other than she's shy, keeps to herself. I don't want to scare her away but I'd like to start something with her. I can tell she's a great person. Does anybody know any good conversation starters for two complete strangers??? [keep in mind, she's really shy and I'm a little =) ] If things go well, does anybody know any places for a first "ice breaker" date with a shy girl? my bf and I are together for 2 months..he loves me so much and he is being so serious with me,,he introduced mt to his parents and older brother and he was like, guys this is the girl that i want to marry! he's been asking me when can he meet my parents to talk to them about it..I am so happy coz i love him alot..
anyways, lately he's been asking me not to do this and that and when i do them he gets really angry then i ask him why didnt u tell me why i shouldnt be doing this and that he says i shouldnt know why i just have to obey!! like what i have done today! i went to his brother and gave him a small gift coz he graduated with a master degree..my bf asked me not to bring his bro anythin but his brother was helpoing me alot lately to make things work between my bf and me whenever we fight!! it hought it would be a nice thing to do!! and his mum loves me so much she keeps talkn about me all the time which made him nervous! he said am rushin things and am acting as if i was his wife!!

I have known this girl since kindergarten, and it wasn't until recently that I got to know her a lot better and really enjoyed spending time with her. I got up enought courage to give her a card that said "Let these words not only touch your eyes, let them travel through your soul and rest in your heart, as you rest in mine...I love you." -Travis-. Then a few days after I got her flowers while with friends and her. She gave me a card that I read when I got home. It said "Thanks for the card!" (the exclamation had a heart at the bottom) "Love, Audra". We have so much fun together, and her twin brother is my best friend. Her family is also fun to be with. There is a Christmas party coming up and she's my guest...should I ask her to be my girlfriend after the party? Or does she even love me? Or should I give it more time?

i like this guy, he tells me the sweetest things and i think i may have done the inevitable of falling for him.

anyway sometimes he doesnt talk to me, in a chatty manner. i dont get it. i suppose if he doesnt tell you he loves you, you're a free agent.

it kinda hurts and it sucks to see and talk to him online yet its like "what you up to" "hows the weather" "i walked through a
snowstorm to mail you a letter" im kinda getting sick of it, honestly.

should i just kill off these feelings by dating various men who i dont even give a rats *** about?

should i ignore this man indefinitely? vwhenever i ask him stuff like are you mad at me, he would go and say no, and just be quiet for long periods of time. its really odd and viciously annoying.

We've been dating about 6 weeks. We are already sleeping together, but before you judge let me tell you we've known each other for six years and we are adults. Well our sex life is incredibly passionate, we just can't stay away from each other, the physical attraction is soo strong. He is very affectionate to me. We kiss for sooo long. When I have to leave he is sad and doesn't want me to go. He is going to drive almost two hours just to see me. Whenever I email him when we are apart he responds to my emails quickly. So do you think he has strong feelings for me too? How can I tell it is an emotional attraction and not just a physical one? My feelings for him are emotional and not just physical. i've been depressed lately. i'm 22 and my college semester just ended. i just recieved a communications certificate and i'm only 6 or 7 classes away from getting an associate's degree in liberal arts. then i'll be transferring to state college. anyway last summer i felt like i had everything, i was incredibly happy, things were going great, i had a g/f of one year to whom i was about to move in with, had a best friend that i did everything with etc. then me and my g/f broke up because she said she wasnt ready for committment anymore and just wanted to have fun, find herself, etc that she's scared to be with someone at 21 who she feels like she could be with forever when shes with me. so yeah we broke. and now shes still calling me wanting to be friends, that she loves me, says when shes ready for a committed thing she wants me *maybe* but doesnt want me to put my life on hold. wants us to date other people for more experiences since we're so young. and then my best friend...he gets

I asked this same question before under diet and fitness but I guess the people in that section of answers didnt want to answer it. Maybe the people in dating might want to give it a try. I think they have sex on the mind more (like me lol lol). His diet is mostly vegetarian with low fat diary products (milk and cheese) and a little fish and chicken when he stays at my house over the weekend and he eats with my family. We are too young to have sex now but when we turn 18 I WANT HIM all the time. He's SOOOO hot. Also what's good for me. Ok I eat red meat cause my family eats it. Note when he eats dinner with us we don't serve him red meat cause his mom doesnt want him to eat beef or lamb (my family is Jewish and we don't eat pork). Should I give up red meat? Anyway maybe the dating people want to try answering my question.
