My bf of 2 yrs left me for a bunch of reasons, which all sound like excuses. Well, the day after I found out he was with some other chick hes known for a week. It's now been 2 months since we have seen eachother and spoke.

When he was breaking up with me, why did he "conveniently" forget to tell me about her? I know for a fact that he knew her while we were dating.

But if a man wants out of the relationship, why not flat out say "I found someone else"

He is already hurting me by leaving, by him saying the truth, it would be easier.

Girls, say you found the perfect man. You knew him as a kid and were always best buddies. I went out with his best friend last December. Then i lived outside the US for a year and I told him in Sept. I love him and he said he loves me too. Ive been going out with girl for a little more then a year, ive bought her some jewlery and thing like necklaces and stuff like that. She called me the other day asking me where i bought the things i got her, and said if i got it from kay jewlers(really expensive jewlery store) she would feel so special, stupidly i told her yes i did, when really i didnt, but i just couldnt tell her no, i thought she would feel so bad. OK, so I have been planning my bf's Christmas present since October. All he ever wants are video games and tools, so it's kind of hard to find a meaningful gift. When we were in the store, he showed me a drill that he really wanted. I'm extremely short on money, but I went ahead and bought it for him last night. I was so excited to give it to him. Turns out his parents got him the same thing. His mom started to put me on a guilt trip about how hard it was for them to get the gift, and how early in the morning they had to wake up to get it. Boo hoo. They have much more money than me and can easily afford anything else on my bf's Christmas list, but I'm the one who has to return the gift and try to scrimp and shop everywhere to find him something equaly special that I can afford.

I think it's extremely un-fair that I'm the one that has to return the gift and try to find something else. Should I confront my bf's parents, or just let it go and get him something not-so-special?

I've known this girl for about 4 years, we have been good friends ever since with a unspoken attraction to each other but for reasons, based on mutual friends, timing either she had boyfriend or I had a girlfriend, we never actually pursue each other. Well the past couple of months we have been very close, dinning together, going out for drinks on a weekly basis. We dont talk to or hang out with our mutual friends anymore.

What do you think?
She's lonely, needs someone to talk to?
She interested? Checking my reaction?
She just likes my company?

What I want? Definitely a relationship with her, and a would normally not care much or think about all this with any other girl, but she is a great friend.

So, I am at a verge here, I need to ask friends but as I mentioned that is something I lack right now....

I've been single, for a long time, but i've been without even some form of affection for several months. fun. These aren't rich celebrities who can have anyone they want, just ordinary guys. I am looking for a man who is serious about a relationship with a future to it but it seems like the 40 year old guys are out to have fun, although they are a little old for that. Why can't they realize that if they continue in casual encounters and relationships like this that 20 years down the road when they start getting health problems, they are going to be alone because these young women who want to play aren't going to want to spend time taking care of some sick man? They should find someone to love and have a serious relationship so they will have someone to grow old with when they aren't marketable anymore. I am open to meeting guys up to 54 but should I expand since it seems some of them are imature too?

A girl I was seeing earlier this year called me the other Sunday morning. We stopped seeing each other earlier this year as she wasn't sure of her feelings and wanted to date other guys but wasn't ready for a relationship (she'd just finished with a guy of 4 1/2 yrs), and so we broke-off contact until earlier this summer.

We got back in contact 3 months ago, met up and ended up hugging and kissed goodbye at the end of the night. She told me it was nice to see me again, but knew she'd broken my heart months beforehand.

Since then I've not contacted her, but some weeks ago she calls. What could she want with me? Am I wrong thinking her hugging/ kissing/ recent call is a sign she wants back?

Should I call her to tell her I think about her still?
