Singles & Dating - 28 November 2006

this already happened a few months ago, but im wondering what kind of advice yall would give me anyway.

i found a homecoming date for the dance and she was going to go with me, until my parents said no because she is black.
she is very cool person who i met at the dance the week before homecoming, and i was glad to finally have the chance to do something interesting on the weekends.

i argued with them over the next two days about it, finally gave up and obeyed.

since then i really havent talked to her because i decided afterward to just sorta let it fade away because it seemed pointless

now its faded and kinda too late anyway

looking back i wish i had disobeyed and picked her up and gone and had a good time anyway.

what would you have done?

Ok so i've been doing this for the past 3 months because my friend gave me this coin where it will tell you true or false and i was like huh it's just a quarter and for like a month it kept on giving me false (tails) and i've wanted a boyfriend for soooo long and i kept on saying this guy is going to my boyfriend but after a few days of giving up i said to myself no i'm not going to ask if lewis is going to be my boyfriend because he's the hottest guy in the school but i thought i'd try it anyway so i did and i got true and i did it again true and i did it so many times and kept on landing on heads!! Isn't this weird???

So I've been seeing this girl since the end of summer. Because I’ve been a little low on cash the past few months she paid for a train ticket so that I could come and visit her a couple of weeks ago. Because of her great deed I felt obligated to stay at here place for the whole visit instead of at my mother’s house as I usually do. This resulted in a whole lot of, I guess almost constant, bang bang if you know what I mean.

With no protection (yes we were both stupid but there’s no point arguing about that now) that bang bang session resulted in a very depressing phone call which I received for about 12h ago. So she tells me that she knows that I probably don’t want to keep the baby (damn right!) but she doesn’t feel the same way. WHAT THE!?!

All these thoughts are running through my mind. What about my education? My future company? My life! I am mature enough (21 years old) to have a child but my days and nights are already fully booked. How the hell am I supposed to take care of a c

I'm 25 years old and still single. All of my friends are getting married, yet I remain unattached. Honestly, I'm intellegent and attractive. I have a decent job and a place of my own. I'm 6', 185lbs, brown hair, blue eyes and I have a voice like Bing Crosby. I'm intellegent, honest, trustworthy and I have an excellent sense of humor.

I won't ask you to change who you are. I don't want you to change who I am. I just want a relationship that will work. I haven't had a lot of time for dating and I just moved to a new town where I don't know a lot of people.

My question--
Where can I meet intellegent and attractive women? I'm not a big drinker, so the bar is out. I also can't dance, so the clubs really aren't the place for me. My bf abused me in june coz he saw me dancing with another guy. He broke up n told me im a cheap gurl along with abuses . then he stopped contacting me. But after a month he started contacting through text mesgs. Again not very pleasant mesgs. but now on 14th nov he again abused me as he kept asking me through text mesgs if i had gone on a date with another guy. But i kept silent and he again abused me through mesgs tht im a prostitute. He told me he wants to slap me n abuse me . Me and my Boyfriend have been going out for 5 months now and i think he is just amazing. We talk about our future constanly, and he wants me to move across the country to be with him after school is over (im a junior in halfway through the school year)(he lives in arizona and i live in kentucky). My Girl friend broke up with her boy friend back in march. Then in August they kind of fooled around a little but now thats has stop. My question is she likes him a lot he is her best friend and she is his best friend and he is a great guy. I asked her why he broke up with her and she told me he said he doent feel that way about her. He told here that he does like her and loves her as a friend and started dateing her to see where things may go but his feeling didnt change enough. I know they fooled around and stuff but he does want to hurt her any more. Any tips that can help her?

Alright, I started dating this guy about two months ago now. Everything has been good... really good up to this point. We are both in the military, and now he has just been relocated about a thousand miles away from me. We have both decided that this isn't something that we just want to give up on, but I am hesitant. Well, I got really really really plastered last saturday night.......and the waitress at the pub I went to was really coming on to me, I have no idea why, because I was so stupid, but neverless, she was. So I asked her out to the bar down the road after they closed up, had a drink, talked for about half an hour, and went our seperate ways..........but before then, I got her phone number. I went through the ol' 3 day first call waiting period, but when I called her, I got the dreaded answering machine. I left some stupid message asking her to call me back when she could, so we could arrange a dinner or something, then said bye. How long do I wait for her to call me back before I call her again? in the beginning stages of dating is the guy keeping tabs on how much HE calls so he wont feel like he is calling to much like for instance if he called you a few times he may wait to see if you will call him because neither one wants to seem like they are calling to much until you guys are over that hump where it dosent matter who calls who as many times as they feel like it
