With a 30 year old hottie?

Examples: shoes, socks, underwear, pants, belt, shirt, coat/jacket?

Seriously according to Men's Health and other magazines I'm supposed to be wearing 160 dollar shirts! You gotta be kidding me!

Seriously again, I don't want her to feel like she's going out with her big brother's fashion clueless best friend.

First off you don't have to worry much about what to wear..just as long as you match and your fashionable according to your age..!

Go to Sears men's dept. they have a TON of nice fashionable decent priced shirts, get a nice shirt that looks double layered with a collar on it..or you can go with a t-shirt and wear a blazer over that matches.. ( if you go with the layer look NO blazer..)
Wear jeans.. no dress pants or slacks unless your going somewhere that has a dress code...
Get you some Levi's that are LOOSE fit and are wide leg... you can wear with a pair of Kswiss tennis shoes or a nice pair of dress shoes.. NO loafers though!!!

The sales person will be able to help you out if you have any questions.. just ask and they will be more than happy to help you out.
Good luck!
P.S.
If you watch HOUSE on FOX, you have seen House's wardrobe... wear something like he wears.. it fits with your age category, it's nice, casual, and fashionable and you won't look like a total goofball! :o)

Honestly - just wear a nice button up shirt with some trendy jeans from the mall... (the sales girls/guys at the stores will help you find a good match... ask a guy that looks attractive and confident to help...)

roll the sleeves up a bit and leave the shirt untucked so you don't look like a stiff....

Wear some casual/dressy shoes (brown or black depending on how they look with the shirt) but do NOT wear tennis shoes unless they are brand-spankin' new.

Silver watch goes with a blue or grey shirt. Gold goes with a black or brown one.

The belt MUST match the shoes.... no brown/black mixes... yuk!

Good Luck.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - if you need to, spend the $8 to buy a nose/ear hair trimmer at the drug store.... when guys get to a certain age, they must do a little extra trimming to look clean.
Shave slowly with warm water and a brand new razor.

That's all I think.

I would wear what's appropriate for the date and disregard the age difference. Wear nice shoes, comfortable enough for dancing if that's part of the date. Wear nice socks. If you think she's going to see your underwear you might leave the Minnie Mouse pattern in the drawer.

Other than that dress nice. If you think the expensive look is appropriate check for stores that sell gently used clothing. Sometimes you can get really good clothes there.

But I wouldn't worry about it. If she really likes you what you wear won't be critical.

haha good question! i would go with jeans, probably dark blue faded (indigo), a nice long sleave striped shirt, colors shouldnt be too bold. then over the shirt i would wear a nice blazer. dont tuck the shirt in though. go with dark socks, navy blue. for shoes i would wear black loafers. always keep the belt the same color as the shoes. goodluck!

i would say just a really nice button down shirt and black slacks and dress shoes for dinner . Of if its casual a pair of jeans with a nice wash and a shirt. Dont over think it a girl will like you no matter what your wearing as long as its clean and not full of holes hahaha

$160.00 shirt . that is totally absurd I can find something better than that to spend my money on. $30.00 shirt had better be one h__l of a nice shirt.
I believe those magazines are clueless as to the real world and cater to the obnoxiously rich or extremely shallow idiots.
Depending upon where you plane on going dress nicely and appropriately. i.e. a tux to a beach picnec is way off, or shorts and tanktop to a Broadway play

Wear something you feel comfortable in. Clean and ironed (if necessary) are a must, but don't get all GQ for a first date if it's the only time you're ever going to dress that way. Don't want to be giving the wrong impression.
But, uh ... try to pick something you bought in this decade?

that all depends on where you 2 are going?
If I was going out on a date with you,I would appreciate you wearing whatever you feel comfortable in.
Once you are comfortable with what you have on,the date will go alot smoother for you.
No woman out there wants to be with a phony man.
Take care and I hope this helps :)

not to offend you in any way or anything like that, but fashion these days are a bit on the expensive, extreme side. something that might appear a little on the flashy side can really compliment you. be a little more daring than you normally would be. and try your best not to look like your trying too hard.

good luck!

Depends on where you are going. I don't want my date wearing a $160 shirt...But I'm cheap! I would like you to wear slacks like kakhi and a golf shirt. Something you would wear to church...casually.
