Being she knows your a driver now and is okay with that I say keep the job maybe if marriage or children come into play down the road maybe then look for local work maybe like day runs that you would be home everynite but still driving which you seem to like doing.

If your able to, and she can, have her come with you on the road. I am a truck driver, I drive locally here driving a ready mix truck, but my wife would like me to go back to OTR driving after our kids are grown up and moved out, so she can go on the road with me.
