I am 21, never kissed a girl and my personal standards forbid me from going out with any girl in my town. What kind of standards, you ask? Well, I'm saving myself for marriage and I can only date a woman who has also kept herself pure. And since every woman in my city has lost theirs, the hope of ever finding someone is lost.
Good advice is needed.

I know of a little girl whose mom is dead and the father adandoned her. She lives with cousins now but they really can't adopt her, eventhough they want to, because they have a very unstable home life. I was wanting to adopt the kid for them that way the little girl didn't have to go to a foster home or someplace worse. I know i'm in the military, but is this a possiblity for me to do and if so, how would i do it?

The first week we met he called every other day and has now dissappeared for 8 days and counting. Is this relationship over before it started or is this normal for guys? He was going out of town for the holiday and did make it sound like I might not hear from him. However, I think this could be an indication there is a girl he went to see? Holiday or not it seems he would have contacted me once, even if he is seeing someone. Of course we haven't discussed exclusivity yet so he can see other women but could still pick up the phone and dial. I am wondering if he has just moved on at this point? I am not going to call him because he is an older man and does all the calling in the old fashioned way. I want to wait and see if he calls on his own but just want to figure out if it is already over so that I can just forget him.

I was with her on and off for 2 years. We got off on a rough start because she wasnt over her ex. It was my first relationship and I must admit I was a bit immature. Im not a dumb guy and I do have a big intellectual edge over her. She is very superficial, (fake eyelashes, contacs, fake boobs) and she is only 20. I loved her to death and tried to give her everything she wanted. She has a wndering eye. We live an hour away from each other and with my older car, I walways try and see her. Throughout the relationship, I felt really unappreciated. She lives with mom and sister and all of them have guy problems. When we were trying to work things out, she started talking to some guy as "friends." It constantly bothered me because I did whatever i could to make her feel more secure. I've known this woman for about a year now. We talk to each other whenever we can. We can talk about anything to each other.
I always thought of this woman as a friend.

For a little while, we lost contact of each other for a few months because of certain work-related circumstances. When I talked to her again, I found out she got married. She apparently met this guy at work about 5 months ago, but started dating about 3 months ago. Now they're married. I feel shocked and I think a little heart broken.

I didn't realize this, but I had feelings for her for a while. It just didn't surface until I found out she got a significant other.

Now I can't get over my feelings for her. Especially, after she got married she told me that she has feelings for me, too. Now I have a lot of regret.

Please don't say, "Just get over it," "forget about her," or "ignore those feelings." I don't know how to get over a person. I need an idea on a good start.

P.S. I won't let her cheat on her husband.

Met a guy on new years he was starring at me 4, 40 mins b4 he came up 2 me.. not that i noticed but his friend told me when i was chatting, we kissed got on & arranged a date. He had just broken up from his girlfriend of 2 yrs. He couldnt take his eyes of me & was really nervous when we went on a date. at that time i was having a dilemma with my career..i did tell him but i dont thinkhe fully understood... i acted erraticly like an absolute nut i was feeling very insecure and on my own..things ended & that was that. Well yesterday night I was at my friends house and he kept saying please give me a massage, i didnt want to cause it felt wierd. Then he started tickling me and pushing me and said i wont stop until you give me one. He kept on for about 5 minutes until i did, but i still didnt want to.
