He knows I like him but he doesn't think that I SERIOUSLY want to get to know him. He is in a grade above me and he is so CUTE! I always see him hugging other girls. They all like him. Don't go crazy about his looks. If he cute, there are a lot more cute people you are going to come across in your life as you are still in middle school. You say you have seen him hugging other girls around him and still you think that he has a tiny crush on you? No he is neither serious about nor about the rest of them. If he is serious about you let him show his inclination. Don't try to attract him and concentrate on your studies.
And if still you want to be noticed and get his attraction pretend to avoid him. it is the nature of people if you follow them they will avoid you and if you avoid them they will follow you.

So let me get this straight.
1. You see golden boy hugging on other girls
2. YOu want golden boy to hug on you
For what purpose??? Don't think he will give up all the other girls just for you. He's got lots of girls and he's gonna keep them.
But if you insist, here's what you need to do to get his attention:
1. Study harder than ever before
2. Help someone every day
3. Spend an hour a day at the library
4. Honor your parents
5. Volunteer a few hours a week for a good cause
6. Get involved in some worthy school activity

First and most importantly is just be yourself, because if you're fake or misleading it won't work out anyways.
I was always told by the wisest and most honest people I know, (and now I believe this and can say it too)... just know that if it was meant to be, it will be...and if it wasn't meant to be, there are plenty others out there and you have your whole life ahead of you!
